Bastard, your team is in great shape with 4 transfers to spare!
Sarr subs in anyway.
I used WC gameweek 19 🤠but thanks!
That’s the idea!
Thank you both.
I can't recommend much as I think your upcoming GW transfer plans mean more.
All I can say is a cheeky punt on a City mid (Savio) is possibly worth it for Rogers till GW23. If you can afford it that is.
Yeah Savio might be a good option if City finally gets out of the mud
Well done for holding onto it so long lol
For WHU, BRE, IPS I'd risk it, given Rogers has [N/A], EVE, ARS - then in GW23 get him back as City fixtures hard whilst Rogers get good again.
If you're happy to spend transfer on it, that is. Just a punt, not as a definite.
There's also no guarantee Savio starts all thee (probs doesn't) but 1 haul could do it.
I mean, if not - just go Murphy actually. TOT, WOL, BOU, SOU. 3 great fixtures. Swap back if not. Cheaper too.
Does mean locking yourself out of Hall though
I mean I wouldn't triple on any team
How much do you have ITB?
especially not on Newcastle
For this Spurs fixture, in the form Newcastle are in - with WOL & SOU also there. I really don't think it's a horrible idea.
I would need to make two transfers for Savio, Rogers and someone else. Currently only .2 in the bank :/
Don't worry about that then.
I hear what you’re saying though, before the wild card I had Gvardiol as the only city player.
not bc of fixtures, but generally I would never triple on any team
again there are rumours that Liverpool game will be postponed, for me thats -2 players (+1 United)
if you have 3 players, then thats it
Honestly I’d have to see if city indeed do pick up in order to have any sort of trust in them.
I will have only 9 players, bc I have 1 injury and 1 suspension aswell
The Liverpool game this weekend?
yeah
Early heads up.
There is a meeting Sunday morning at 9am to discuss the possibility of cancelling the Liverpool v Man United fixture.
I have no idea how likely it is, but there is some doubt of it going ahead.
The concern is around the safety of fans travelling to the game.
so never go triple imo
Well this changes things lol is the weather bad?
Well I don't live there, I only got this info from the fpl chat
@cosmic gull - if you don't have too much value on Rogers that you'd lose by selling, and you're not getting Hall I'd chance a short -term punt on Murphy over Rogers.
I'd start Murphy this week 100%.
I'd maybe start him in GW21. Maybe over Cunha. Can bench him GW22. I'd play him GW22. Then sell him.
You've got 4 FT. You can always swap back.
But no worries if you don't.
just so you have another oppinion, you already have Isak and Gordon, you don't need a third Newcastle attacking asset
Although if I'm being honest, looking at the fixtures I'd play Murphy in, I'd be benching Cunha. So then you might as well sell Cunha instead.
People want to be differential. Given everything I'm hearing about the state of Spurs, and given when we know about Newcastle & Isak/Gordon/Murphy's form - this is one scenario where I really don't think it's so bad to spin the wheel. The immediate fixtures after are good too, so it's not just a 1 GW go at it. You'll get 2-3 goes. If it doesn't work, swap him back out.
He has 4 FT. Safety blanket (and over 3-4 weeks will gain some back) Rogers is suspended then has 2 tough fixtures. Murphy EO is tiny. Big upside.
It's just a question of who you are benching in those scenarios and whether or not it's worth it.
I do generally agree triple ups can be dangerous - but if you've got a good squad, can bench if you like - and the fixutrss are good - in a team in good form. That's where you take a chance & get the edge on others rather than mimicking the template 100%
But holding as-is is absolutely fine too.
you have good points, but if Newcastle doesn't score, thats 3 blanks straight
for example who thought Chelsea wont score against Ipswitch?
if you had 3 Chelsea players, thats 3 blanks
I'm not saying its a bad move, but its more risky than having more players from different teams
I have far more confidence on Newcaslte scoring multiple times aginast Spurs than I ever was of Chelsea doing the same against IPS.
That's as a Chelsea fan!
oh come on xd
No, genuinely. We had lost confidence & IPS had just put in a couple of decent performances, and we're at home.
I thought we'd at least score once but I didn't think we'd smash them
I mean after losing to IPS ofc you lose confidence, but before that Chelsea had a good run
was second
It's all just opinions now so I won't spam this RMT thread with it. Just gut feeling is Newcastle are going to spank Spurs, like many other teams have spanked them
... including IPS who also beat them!
@night dawn Murphy assist
Isak also missed a sitter he set up too
@cosmic gull what did you go with?
Yeah it payed off, gj
Also Savio 👀
I rolled 😩
