I’m transferring out Gabriel, but no clue who to pick basically. For me it’s between Gvardiol, Henry, pinnock or Hickey maybe udogie but I just don’t know who to pick

Maybe Isak for Watkins and Saliba for Gabriel?

I’m in the same boat as you with Gabriel. I want to get Gvardiol but that’ll mean I’ll need to use another transfer to fund it, like Watkins to Jackson. Rotation could also be an issue for Gvardiol, but I do have Botman on the bench. I’m leaning towards either Gvardiol, Rico Henry or Udogie

I don’t like it personally. For me I don’t think Isak is someone you want to go for right now, he still has decently hard fixtures and Is still a rotation risk with Wilson. I’m not going to change to Saliba because if I do then I’m going to permanently be behind 11 points to everyone who did have Saliba. So I atleast need a differential to get me the points back, following a trend won’t do anything for me, It will just accept that I’m behind

I agree, pep roulette could hit hard and gvardiol might end up being benched. But he is more nailed on than someone like ake. However when you have the chance to pick Brentford players who have the best fixtures in the league for the next 8 or so game weeks, it’s kinda hard to pick.

With gvardiol you are just going to get clean sheets and Man City are good at that of course.

With Henry and other Brentford defenders, you have the obvious easier fixtures and Henry’s attacking chances. However, it’s almost a question of if you think Brentford are more likely to concede with their fixtures or Man City are (also taking into account a possible assist or goal from Henry).

I forgot to mention Rúben Dias as an option for me too, assuming I do sell Watkins and bring in Jackson. I don’t feel too great about potentially selling Watkins but the extra £1.0m is really nice, not to mention Chelsea have amazing fixtures for the next 6 games and Jackson’s underlying numbers look pretty good. If Watkins were still taking pens I would probably just keep him and replace Gabriel with Henry or Udogie. I do feel like I’d be missing out not having a City player in defence though, so many potential clean sheet points.

Dias is nice if you have the money, an insta switch from gabriel to him isnt possible without money itb or 2 transfers of course. I'm starting to warm up to possibly changing watkins to jackson aswell now, he looks really good and I feel he could outperform watkins going forward but it is a hard decision at the end of the day. I also don't know if I want to go for gvardiol or dias tho, henry looks nice and brentford don't have the worst fixtures. Although it is man city.... almost guaranteed cs yk.

Acctually, i've jus realised about gabriels -0.1 price drop which prices me out of gvardiol unless I sell watkins. So I am forced to either sell Watkins and Gabriel for Jackson and Gvardiol OR sell Gabriel for Henry/Gusto/Udogie

Yeah you’re in the exact same boat as myself. I’m gonna wait till GW3 deadline before I decide but for now I’m leaning towards selling Watkins and bringing in Jackson which allows me to sell Gabriel and then get either Dias or Gvardiol
