In the #resources channel there's a link to "SWTOR Theorycrafters" this discord will show you which abilities to use when, the basic opener and rotation, as well as stat threshholds. It will also show you which implants and tacticals are recommended/required to play well. For PvE you'll want 110% accuracy first and foremost as a DPS.

One other thing: The biggest contributor to playing well is to practice. Even if you play exactly as the discord shows, there may be a trick from time-to-time to optimize even further. Once you've set up your stats properly (ideally 336 or 340 item modifications from Hyde & Zeek) + Implant & Tactical, check out the different raiding discords.
