Game loads main screen then crashes | SWTOR | Page 1

So I just updated the game on steam and tried to log in gone through the stupid EULA agreement clicked play loads the game up with ease got to main menu with the screen showing the game name and the new update title underneath then just crashes and steam goes into it routine to update steam cloud and then the play button shows i updated all drivers graphics and other ones tried other games to see if it happens So i am not sure what going on here the specs to my PC as it runs before with out ease

in steam, rclick the game > properties > installed files > click verify integrity it'll take time, and DON"T play any games on the same drive or use any progs on same drive. if it's installed on your OS drive, then watch some tv till it's done, or play a game not on the same drive either way

okay it seems to be a steam issue as i downloaded the swtor launcher so steam fucked up somewhere

i'd say run the installer w/o steam, than copy the files to the steam install folder
