Hi im a new player and i love the game but i have 1 big issue holding my back from subbing and that is that my game doesnt give sound to my custom audio device, it only does this after verifying the steam files, like something is corrupt each time i boot the game when i start my pc?

not something i have heard of to be honest
What i can say is with directx 9 directsound , the game does not allow switching of sound input mid game, it will usually ultimately crash if this happens

I see, só what I did Is I start the launcher and changed the output in windows to my input channel for my mixer, it worked fine until I restarted my computer. Then nothing worked anymore until I verified my files. I tried reinstalling but it didn't fix, seems like it breaks if the sounds settings aren't on default for some reason @icy mortar

doesn't look like a swtor problem something must be wrong in you audio config. Wdym by "custom audio device" ?

If you go to windows sound and then to app volume and device preferences I have selected a different out put from default there and swtor doesn't like it
