Hello, new player trying this game out. I'm level 12 and the game seems exceptionally easy. I wasn't expecting a "challenge" but I legitmately don't think I've fallen below 90% life the entire time.

Do the enemies become threatening at any point before endgame? Is there content I am missing which would reqire more than auto-attacking?

I have mostly been focused on the main story since that is one of the game's primary praises, but it kind of feels like I am walking from cutscene to cutscene while right clicking a few times on the way.

Thanks for the response. Typically I can just pull extra things or be reckless when I want to increase the difficulty myself, but even that seems to be ineffective in this game as everything just melts and does zero damage.

I was wondering if there were more threatening or group side-quests that I was missing since I was focused on the main quest. I assume the game will point out a group "dungeon" or whatever the equivalent is when that time comes.

One thing you can do to increase the challenge a little bit is toggling your companions off of the Heal stance and onto the DPS stance. This can be achieved by right-clicking their portrait and using the small menu that's available; pressing "C" (default) to open your character window, navigating to the companion tab, and using the drop-down there; or by pressing "N" (default), navigating to the desired companion's tab, and using the drop-down menu there.

DPS companions will put out some damage, depending on how strong they are, but you'll still take most enemy aggro, and have to deal with keeping yourself and your ally healed.

Tank Companions draw all aggro, but you'll still need to manage healing; and Heal Companions are Easy Mode. When I want a slight challenge but don't want to lose my health, I'll swap to Tank Companions for a while.

It's a Christmas miracle, I made it to 80% life on the heroic quest!

Thanks for the companion tip. The healing is obviously very strong.

Generally like to try and "do more" before I deliberately gimp myself. I'll see if I can work something out with these heroics.
