So moral of the story, spent forever grinding FP's to upgrade and earpice to 336, picked up the quests from Hide and Zeek to deconstruct it, deconstructed the earpice, didnt realize that the quests was for 336 ARTIFACT not prototype. I submitted a ticket, but everywhere I go I see tickets take a while so I thought id ask here. Is there any chance they will actually fix this, or am I doomed to grind again? In which I dont know if I will, the whole process for getting this was repetitive to begin with, and I dont think I have it in me to go at it again, at least until 7.3 releases.

Unfortunally no their is no way to fix it but it also should've worked anyhow
In my experience you can use any peice for either mission and it makes no difference
So first question before i say anything else, was the piece you grinded a blue piece or green one?

Well then honestly it should've worked as i done used accessories for both missions before with no issue but anyhow
The ticket MAYA get you the piece back but unforunally highly unlikely
As for the grind it does not take that long tbh compared to what the grind could be like. As for 7.3 it does not change much
If you don't have enough conquest commendations you'll still be grinding the same places you got DRMS from just obtaining a different ressource
Find a guild and make some friends who will help you grind it
