Choosing an operation

So, total noob to Operations here. Is it possible to choose what Operation you want to do specifically or do you have to wait till the one you want to do shows up in the Groupfinder?

You can do any operation you want however if it’s not in the group finder, you just have to physically walk to the door of said operation.

Most ops groups nowadays don’t rly bother with the group finder and just walk to/summon the group to the location of their entrances anyways (at least on SF, dunno if it’s different on any other server)

So regarding the 2 Oricon Operations in my case, I can just set up with a group of ppl and start it on the planet itself then right

No one uses the group finder for operations due the numberous issues it causes and restrictions it places on a group.

As others have mentioned their is two good options to you. Look in the general chat of fleet and see what is currently being run by people (DF/DP the ones you're after get run all the time) or join up with a guild who does regular operations

They have little travel time between bosses and so get run for tech frag grinds above other sm operations

did you mange to get a group for it? noticed you're also on darth malgus and if you struggle I can make a random group of fleet and get you through it

I'm planning to do all the ops on my next JK so its why I asked

there are "quest givers" at operations entry points if you want to do something other than group finder of the week stuff
