In GSF the person that you want to kick has to neither respawn nor land any damage against an enemy for a certain amount of time before you can vote to kick them. While playing, press M to bring up the map/roster (probably wise to press X to stop first) then if the person is eligible to be kicked you can see that beside their name. Just click on it to register. If they remain not respawning not damaging enemies the game will automatically kick them. Sorry, there's no other means to do it.

Implants you want the legendary ones. So farming them requires you to do alot of operations or pvp to grind tech fragments but once you done your first two implants to 344 then you'll get a big discount on the rest

For relics and ear pieces you just need to either keep doing master mode flashpoints to make them from or nim operations

From what I've read 340 is enough for almost everything

344 is only really for the hardest raids

Unless you intend to do nim operations there is no point in going for 344 gear at all as the advantage 344 gives you over the much easier to get 340 is not worth the added effort.
Even 340 is not really needed if you only ever do story content

Your 340 can be legacy bound also if you're using one of the very easy to get season sets or getting the adaptive gear on fleet

Hi, as a new player would it be ideal to buy the whole season or buy level 80 boost for several characters?

as a new player, run through some of swtor's base content normal
i understand that's neither of your given choices, but figuring out the game first before making such large purchases is more ideal imo

this galactic season is primarily currency, space barbie (armor/weapons), and a stronghold; level 80 boosts skip a large chunk of story (and pick certain important choices for you) that, assuming as a new player you haven't experienced all of yet
if a choice had to be made between those two, weigh your options on what you'd want more out of those boiled-down factors

realized you're likely referring to the Master's Datacron boost that just boosts level and doesn't skip story - if that's the case then i suppose that'd be "ideal" if you hate leveling but still want to experience everything the game has
either boost will cost a pretty penny

I did purchase the Join the fight bundle as well as 21k+ cartel coins. I did a bit a research on builds/meta classes to know what's being played end-game. I do not mind skipping to 80 right away, I'm sure ill make an alt and level it from scratch. As for the level 80 boost, I wanted to make a Healer/Tank/Dps. I do not however know if the season is worth it, I rather buy it then deal with the grind, and just focus on end game or try to prepare for it.

Do not trust many sources for this game many of them are rather outdated now adays

As an endgame player myself i do not recommend boosting to level 80 and going straight too it. I much more recommend doing your first class story all the way through first and leveling to 80 it'll teach you alot about the game that'll be useful for you if you pay attention.

As an endgame player of any serious note you'll have to get all stories on imp or rep side to chapter 2 atleast to get special buffs from it that will make a difference to your performance

There is a workaround. If you download the standalone launcher and accept the EULA then stop the install, you can then go in and copy the file eula.settings (found in Electronic Arts/BioWare/Star Wars - The Old Republic) over to your steam folder (steamapps/Common/Star Wars - The Old Republic/).

Does choosing a combat style impact anything for my current build? If I'm a sith assassin and I choose jedi sage, nothing about my sith assassin build will change, I can just also choose to make a jedi sage build on this character?

press C and go to the loadout tab, that way you can change combat styles and/or disciplines and it will save the ability positions on your bars for each one

You mean the Fleet Vanguard Vessel legacy unlock? It can if you want, but it transports you to a different part of Fleet: one of the ships other than the main part which is Carrick Station/Vaiken Spacedock

Hey, last week I didn't seem to get any rewards from my personal conquest when I hit the goal. Someone said it happens at weekly reset but I just logged in and still don't see it anywhere. Is there a panel I have to go to or something?

Nope, if you hit it on a toon you'll or got a reward once you hit 100k during the week

And if level 80 further stuff on the reset

The rewards from reset are the ones you get if you + the guild you are in hit the goal. So if you hit your 100k and the guild you are in either hits 5 mil, 2 mil, 500k. Then you get rewards. You also only get them if you been in the guild longer than a week. Per broadsword's rules, not any guild rules.

Click on Manaan on the galaxy map and it has 2 spots to land at, the one you want should be Invasion Zone, or whatever says "level 75-80"

Once you get to like level 70, there’s a dungeon called Nathema Conspiracy. I don’t know if it still works but there’s a farming method at the final boss where you kill a ton of enemies that spawn then die to respawn the boss for major xp

You can gain and earn LS and DS points, but your overall level will be balanced between the two with LS providing a positive value and DS proving a negative value.

If you had exactly 200 LS and -200 DS, your overall level would be 0.

1. You can buy the ransom on multiple characters to progress the achievement. It doesn't have to be one. You can do it all in one day if you have enough alts that can do the mission.
2. The achievement unlocks the ability to buy the fun item across your legacy (server-wide). All of your characters on your legacy can buy it, even future characters.

Dark Side Jaesa can be done with any alignment, regardless of light/dark. (unlike Light-Side Jaesa where you need at least Light 1), but it depends on your choices you make

The achievement is tracked in the legacy achievements list. Every time one of your toons pays the ransom, that tracker ticks up by one. It will persist indefinitely.

Once you have it, any toon can claim the gold-glow item

I got 340 blue weapon/armor from hyde and zeek how do i get 340 blue ear/relics? if i get 340 in everything will operations drop 340 purples?

you have to increase the iRating of the ear and relics manually by going to the vendor and buying the upgrades, you can get lucky sometimes and get the higher IR from a weekly crate, but it's rng so don't rely on it, if it happens it happens and if it doesn't then it's just decon fodder. Operations only drop 340 purples in VM Ops(just accessories) and NiM Ops(any gear piece)

if I'm just mainly questing and the highest end game content I do is MM FPs and casual pvp, does the difference between the green and blue gear matter that much? Or do I just go for whatever has highest IR?

I'm slowly getting back into MM FPs but I have a couple green IR upgrades over a couple of my blues and was wondering if that is worth or not

Blue over green will help for mm flashpoints for sure but if you play well you don't need it

For pvp i would very much recommend better gear. Even if you not playing it super often. Pvp is not a place for lack of gear

Hello :) Are the Shadow of Revan, KOTFE, and KOTET fully playable in co-op?

Shadow of Revan is playable in co-op, for the non FP phases you and anyone in the group will have to both 1. Enable same story phases if you haven't already and 2. Do it for each group member since it only progresses the phase owner's story. Same with the Knights expansions, only difference is you have to summon them into the story instance because of how chapters are launched, and again, only instance owner gets progression and you'll have to repeat for each group member

Did something change about how Guild Conquest rewards work?
I recently returned to the game, did Conquest on a bunch of characters, got the immediate reward on all of them, but only got the final Conquest reward on the first one that I logged on today.

if you mean modifications (armorings, enhancements etc), you can buy 75 lvl legacy bound gear with mods at the spoils of war vendor for tech fragments (supplies section, outer ring, 2nd room from the right)
iirc you also get 75 mods from various crate rewards like heroics weeklies or WBs crates

"Good" as far as fun to play is subjective. I find sage/sorc fun so I would say yes and it'll serve you just fine for the majority of content. However, if you want to do the hardest endgame content as dps, you'll need to consider powertech/vanguard or marauder/sentinel instead

When you rotate the camera, the mouse cursor disappears until you release the button

However, this issue is where you are stuck in that despite no mouse button being pressed - you can move the mouse, and it rotates the camera, but you cannot regain the mouse cursor

Only way I can fix it, is my using a command line log out string to reload into the game from the character select screen

There is a rare bug that has been around for awhile where you will enter mouse look. I had thought they finally fixed it.

Usually CTRL+U to reset the UI, right clicking, or ALT+ENTER to change from full screen to windowed has worked in the past for me.

If you are able to reliably replicate it, I would suggest submitting a ticket in game and/or a post on the EA support site.

As for the cause others have thought it was.. a directx issue or a loading into new zone issue when holding down right click.. iirc.

I am able to kill and easily survive as a shadow DPS with a shield - but as a sage DPS... I get annihilated - with the equivalent gear, but the simplest of enemies

Potentially dumb question regarding a boosted character. If I haven’t yet completed all my class stories or most of the DLC (furthest I’ve got is RotCH) but I really want some of the Iokath and Onderon reputation armor for my characters before completing the class stories, but also want to avoid any spoilers. If I create a booster character, will the boosted character have access so the heroics and reputation system from the past expansion so that I can get the reputation items for my other characters? Would this alter anything for my other characters stories or lock me out of achievements, or spoil the story progression for the other expansions? Thanks and sorry this is so long.

depends on the boost, idk about at char creation, but there's other's you can get off the CM too. i think this is the one from the char screen, with the exception of additional char slot. while it completes the previous story arcs for you, you start at the onslaught xpacs, and able to, you can double back to get what you didn't play thru to get that rep gear

what you won't get, if you've not done em before via Sub, is the later story arcs after onslaught

you can't travel from every location, otherwise use it as needed. if you log out in it and return anytime afterward, be ready to come down to the planet spaceport, mabye even fleets if that's where you traveled from

gear is what you wear for fights, etc. outfitter is what you look like till you change it to another outfit, even if your gear gets changed. outfits are bought, they get pricey as you get higher level tho

if you can use crystals, equip em in weapons that you want to keep that color

combat style lets you change to what you have selected int here, or can do a mission to unock. BUT, you have to be Sub to use it

loadouts let you save skill selections, so even if you only have the one combat style, you can change your skills for various setups, like flashpoints, solo, etc

vullkk and swtorista both have guides that can help out. both can use dated photo's or info sometimes tho, so watch out.

better gear is always a good idea. you can check swtorista or vulkk for guides on your class too

You don't really need to worry about stats until level 80. Before that, just equip whatever is an upgrade

with the little green upgrade arrow on it

lokin was nerfed from his best tank status. he lost the defensive buff that tanks get when they leap. he still has his cooldownless leap which is useful in getting all attention to him from enemis that you haven't touched yet, but then he dies quickly.

Founder player returning for some nostalgia after a while of not playing and I'm leveling way to fast. Is there either a way to turn off the exp bonuses or does it matter, as in do mobs scale with your level or can you not be to OP per planet so on?

mobs scale, there is a level cap per planet too. tho your gear stats will make it easier to handle most mobs

Honestly, if you played back when the game launched, the game will always feel easier than it was. I’ve been playing since 2012 so while I didn’t get the game as early as you, I have seen how the game evolves and sadly it won’t feel as challenging, but, if it really is an issue, you don’t have to do side quest and go in a couple levels underneath and it has a similar challenge

do you know how to acces your personal storage? if yes, it's the same thing but yellow instead of green

you can find them on the fleet or place them as decoration in your strongholds. If you are in a guild, the guild stronghold and/or flagship should also hzave them

you get some the first time you do those FPs on a character for the story

They're tradeable so the best way to get them is either taking numerous alts through the story, or buying them off the GTN

I couldn't get them to drop outside of the guaranteed story mission rewards

Hi I just have a quick question, I have two toons, one serenity shadow and the other is hatred sin, I notice that on my serenity shadow toon sometimes when I kill mobs my CD for serenity strike resets but that's not the case for my hatred sin toon. Anyone know a reason for this?

both toons have identical ability tree and near identical gears

Pyro PT is the one you want if you want fire

Though merc uses missiles/fire as well to a lesser extent

saboteur gunslinger uses explosives

Depends on what you want to do. It's absolutely worth it to sub for a month and cancel as that gives you lots of story content and a level cap of the current max level which is 80
