if you don't wanna go through the leveling process for said character it's a solid option - assuming you're willing to drop 3.2k CC for that
you still get to experience story, so no loss there, you'll just K.O the enemies faster

but the differences are negligible unless you are soloing harder vet FPs

Shae is the best DPS due to a special AOE ability

Z0-0M is the best healer due to an additional hidden heal

Altuur is overall really good since he has an added aura in every form, e.g. healing some of the damage you do in heal stance or buffing your damage by 10% in tank stance

you can minimize the mission rewards window but eventually after you have a few pending rewards the game will ask you to collect them and won't allow to deploy your companions on new missions until you accept old rewards

I watched a couple videos on subscriptions but they were quite old, so I just wanted to double check whether the following were still true:

1. If I purchase subscription I will have permanent access to the current and past expansions, meaning I can still play them after my subscription ends.
2. Creating a lvl 70 character will still allow me to replay the story quest of the character I created.
3. Choosing sith inquisiter --> Hatred, will allow me to progress the game at a steady pace and will allow me to get invited to end game PVE content?

1. yeh expacs and current level cap (currently lvl80) will be perma-kept
2. using the token that's on character creation will skip your character to Onslaught; your base game origin story and the expacs done beforehand would be skipped
3. yea as long as you don't over-stealth everything as assassin for first part there, and that combat style (hatred) will be good for endgame content

yea, so how it'll work at first is that they're unlocked, but only to certain origin stories (i.e Agent/BH has Chiss, Warrior/Inq has Pureblood, etc.)
if you level a character of that species to lvl50, they'll be unlocked for all origins on that server

I have a story question.
I recently made a new character, specifically to romance Lana this time around. Now, as far as I can tell, I picked all the right interactions, up to chapter 9, where I found myself very confused that it didnt give me the option to romance her. I even looked at Youtube to make sure I didnt forget something, which by my estimation I didnt. Additionally, in the crew selector it already says that I married her after the events?

the norm is bronze items will be 60 CC, silver 240, gold/plat 400, tunings 600 to unlock
i personally recommend waiting until the 50% collections sale comes up, next time should be around life day
just makes things easier and you can unlock more with your CC than you normally can

otherwise if not unlocked, it'll just be available for the character you used/equipped the stuff on; they can infinitely spawn it, other characters can't

Idk if it’s been changed back from the good ‘ol days but snipers/gunslingers could take cover in place or behind something. If you did it in place your holo-shield was just damage reduction. But if it was behind something and you sat there. Then all enemy bullets would miss or be blocked. You’d take no damage. @outer scarab This is a known issue, had the same problem myself even though I have been using the same credit card since I started playing at launch for my sub. Easiest temp fix until they sort out the issue is to buy a playtime card off Amazon (or similar) and Login to swtor.com then enter that in the Code Redemption page. Should at least ensure you keep your sub benefits until they sort out your billing issue. Good luck

if not there, it'll be in your Mission Items section of your inventory

yes, you scan the antenna, that unlocks a panel on the side of the tent you immediately spot, and you destroy that

•Am subscriber (and have 3,400 cartels coins laying around, don't know what to do with)
•Finished Jedi Knight and Jedi Consular storylines (close on Trooper and Sith Warrior)
• Currently trying to finish the Smuggler storyline (used a Master Datacron to get to level 80 with rating 324 gear)

The story is getting a little dry so I'd like to fully build out my character. So I looked into builds and saw Tacticals, unique armor exc. which I have no clue how to get, I'm guessing Flashpoints/ Operation. I can queue as a healer or DPS, depending on whether I'm using my Powertech or Operative combat styles. How do I get started (getting gear and becoming a good teammate for these late game missions?)

I honestly recommend just setting the boosted character aside until you finished the expansions once without a boost

Then have another person on iokath to invite them.

Have a 3rd person to instance.

Make the republic person group lead, while person 3 enters instance.

Assuming that’s the other amage spec then it should be fine for most fights however due to the jump you have mid rotation it can screw up positioning in specific fights like veteran watchdog so just be careful

If you are solely worried about damage checks then it will meet them just that the skill might feel a bit more difficult due to the way the jumps work in the game

There can be a few reasons for that I am unfamiliar with the ability specifically because it has been a moment since I have looked at that spec if I had to guess it may have a higher base damage already which when creating as well as if you have any guild buffs or just the correct stats on your gear can all provide very strong hits
