Is This Video Luck or Skill?

I recently made a long video and it exponentially broke my previous records. But I NEED to know if its luck/trend timing, or if I actually improved.

Before:

• 60-90s AVD
• 2-4% CTR
• Little engagement
• 100-2k views.
• Dead in 2 days.

This One:
~2:35 AVD

• 6.7% CTR
• 6.6k views (4.6k are unique viewers)
• 252 likes and 360 comments
• Still getting views

im a little late to this, but dude 360 comments is insane to be for 6.4k views

I think its going really well due to it's high engagement in the comments?

for context I have a simular video posted 5 days ago with the same views

this is my stats

(the ctr was higher I swear)

but the your comment rate is almost 3-4 times this video and this one is just now slowing down, so im assuming its because you picked a topic that viewers want to discuss more in the comments, thus youtube seeing the traffic going there, which makes more people stay on the site for longer, and so youtube pushes it more
