I know minecraft letsplays are not too popular anymore but its the kind of content I like to do, Im not really into creating indept lore or doing the kind of challenges popping off right now. But I still feel like my thumbnails are really affecting how many people are willing to click on my videos. Does anyone have specific advice on what would make you more likely to click? Ive gone through so many phases with these thumbnails I feel like I lost all perspective and Im overthinking it too much atp, but I would like to improve for future videos as Im pretty sure these ones will forever just be gone in the void lol

The branding feels stuck in 2016. You got 4 different personal brand elements competing for space when you only need 1. Some of them work, like the character and the chickens, but others are just clutter. The quickest fix to modernize this, is ditching that dated font and fixing "The HOLE" to make it look endless.
yea it might be because 2016 is the time of minecraft content i used to love and i guess i just keep making my thumbnails in that style subcontiously lol
That’s a modern creator trap. You're effectively competing against the 2016 titans like Markiplier and PewDiePie. To win now, you can’t just copy them, you have to 1-up them in personality, scale, or storytelling. If you aren't bringing something bigger to the table, people will just go watch the originals.
