Hmmm, but people might not know it's about D&D, no? That sounds a bit too broad, sounds like fantasy in general, which clashes with the beginning of the title as that's very niche (vs. How Wizards Ruined Fantasy, for example). If it was something like "How the Sword Coast Ruined Fantasy in D&D", that's niche vs niche, or "Is the Sword Coast Killing Fantasy in D&D?"
A book came out about the Sword Coast so I definitely want to have that in the name
Hmm
Haven't played D&D in years (and i did mostly Pathfinder), plus this belongs in feedback.
However, I do like how the text is lined up against dude's head and shoulders. But the phase "Chivarly Is Dead" is boring. Sadly, once again i haven't played D&D in years so i dunno what phases, words or lingo could draw more eyes.
I also feel like the outline on the knight should be an more eye catching color.
The art is good. One thing I would say (and take this with a grain of salt cuz I aint an visual artist) is that i feel like dude should have a cynical look on his face if you going with the "x is dead" thing.
Throwing in "in D&dD" would be good
this is feedback lol
Lol I just copypasta my old text from the Video chat room
ahhh
Oh didoi
Let me see what I can do to adjust some stuff rq...
What do you think this for the face?
More tortured and added a scar
I'll fix the left bit lol
That is much better. IMO "D&D Ruined Fnatasy" gives off a curious feel most cuz folks who have a surface level knowledge on D&D will be like "Hold up, I thought that shit was the standard for fantasy."
I think there's a few ways to go but I do agree chivalry is dead is almost like incel coded 😂
I think the concept of the modernization of dnd has ruined the fantasy aspect can be interesting.
So how can you expand on the thumbnail? Like is it modern setting? Modern rules? Modern weaponry? Modern politics?
How do you build that curiosity gap?
Hmm, well pretty much its the actual in-game world thats too modern. You don't see any knights or kings in any of the worlds whatsoever
So instead of chivalry what if you could spin it as "Modern DnD has lost its charm"
"Modern DnD has forgotten what made it great"
"Modern DnD has abandoned its roots"
Not saying follow those verbatim but just some quick ideas.
