Made a documentary that at least in my opinion is well edited but the AVD is below 4 minutes for a 28 minute video. That percentage is the worst on almost 1000 longform videos on my channel. The CTR is abysmal too. Is there something wrong with this video that I’m missing?

Wanted to take a look at your competition and found youve uploaded this video before and even visited the subject 2 years ago.
I personally believe the introduction while having worse quality audio is alot more comepelling and engaging than your current one.

I think the green leafy borders in the new version is a bit cluttered. I think the original did the composition a bit better just because olimar is Front and center and its the first thing the eyes goes to.
For context I watched the first two minutes of each and something about the one from two years ago comes across as more authentic and like "im doing this because I enjoy pikmin"
and the newer one feels a bit manufactured. Cant really put my finger on it but these are my first impressions.

The original intro felt like it appealed more nostalgia based and I think that's a good way to hook someone who's interested in. The face didn't factor in for me.
