What: This is a video explaining the method of mathematical (standard) induction
Type of Feedback: I need feedback on visual + audio quality, retaining engagement, and speaking in a microphone.
Specifics: I'd like some help diagnosing why my most recent video didn't get many views. Is the thumbnail too unimaginative, or is the subject material simply too boring, and how can I work around that? Also, when I talk, do I sound boring? How can I learn to talk better in a microphone that sounds nicer, more relaxing, and natural all while not being boring but exciting and motivating as I teach my favorite subjects? Lastly, is my audio quality any good to you? I'm using a Blue Yeti and would love feedback on how I can improve the audio, whether digitally or physically.

Thank you so much!

This video teaches how to use and understand standard, or normal, mathematical induction, a powerful method of proof for mathematics and computer science.

The video covers the definition of mathematical induction, the formal structure of an induction proof (base case + inductive step), and finally a fully worked example.

Your voiceover lacks energy.

I also think it starts really slow. Someone who wants to learn induction should know what (n*n+1)/2 means without needing a long example imho. If using an example at all, keep it short (it's also where I turned off the video)
