Yes backround music is in my opinion to loud, in that kind of videos (u are telling the story right? or should i just listen to the music?) the story is most important, but i can't focus on it beacuse of the music, it should be an addon not a main actor. "Not the worst edit" -> yes i've seen worst and much better, i've said its a good starting point, won't complain on that too much. So tldr, keep it up, head down and do your job.
