Looking for notes on pacing & payoff "Why We Might Have toLeaveEarth” (Video Essay)

Really enjoyed! I think the shifts between each element work really well, giving mood changes that end the video feeling complete. I also think the quick moving visuals really fit the conventions of this type of video.

The one thing that is a bit off subject but could help is speaking a bit louder or making your voice a little louder in post. Once way I have found helpful in animating my voice is by watching similar content creators and seeing how they speak and finding something similar to that! Audio is a really big thing with these sorts of videos annoyingly so that might help. People tend to click off if they think its too quiet, or the music too loud. Still, I didn't really find any sticking points in the pacing of the video, it really works well at keeping attention, visuals are great and the thumbnail is good and attention grabbing!

Yeah I am hoping it gets at least some more views. The algorithm hasnt showed it to people yet, it only has 14 impressions as of now

Yeah, i mean in my experience it takes some time and consistent posting for the algorithm to really start pushing your video unless you are lucky. Still, looks good so you never know

That's the hard part usually. Start the brainstorming on this then work backwards as it's the first thing people see to click?

make the title more enticing and the thumbnail more obscure, cause the video is entertaining enough to keep some viewers engaged

maybe for the thumbnail some weird like martian site or strucuture with circle around it with some futuristic people somewhere in there, idk something like that> couldve put more effort in the thumbnail for sure
