The text greendale is very hard to read
its a lil low quailty bc its a ss
Improvement but still not great
Maybe something like this where the text is more shaped like a rainbow so it doesn't go over his hands
Line is to demonstrate the shape
Also I'd make the text a little bit bolder if you can as well
It did not let me do that bc its a image
What software are you using?
what software should i use im thinking of getting adobe ill and prem pro
I would recommend using photopea if you want a free Photoshop alternative and davinci resolve as a free premier pro alternative
If you're used to premiere pro you'll need to adjust a bit to davinci resolve but photopea I found not very different from Photoshop
But if you're just learning your first software it should be a no brainer to do those free software as they're very good. Davinci resolve is professional grade at no cost
That's worse
what do u think of thse one
The question mark now obstructs his hand
What you could do maybe is try do an a/b test with this thumbnail and the greendale thumbnail idea from above since they're two very different concepts that's a good way to see what the people respond to
I think moving it up though was the right idea
whats a a/b test sorry im new
A/b test is a feature YouTube has that allows you to upload two different thumbnail for your YouTube video then it will suggest the video to people with either the a or b variation and figure out if viewers click to watch more on one vs the other. Then after it's done testing it will stick with the one that is more successful in getting a higher CTR (click through rate)
ah ty
What's the idea for the video title? That's also pretty important when it comes to the thumbnail idea
Because they should kinda play off each other a bit and you don't wanna repeat yourself as they should both have unique information that informs the potential viewer the maximum amount
Abed Nadir: The God of (Greendale or Community)
Tbh I think "Abed Nadir: The God of Community" works better with the greendale thumbnail and "Abed Nadir: The God of Greendale" works better with the community thumbnail. That way in both cases you have both greendale and community covered. Though it would be kinda hard to do a/b testing that way since it's two different titles you can't a/b test the titles too
ty for this i see what ur saying
i made a new one i moved the text a lil and added a shadow
i feel like something is missing at the bottem left
let me download it its too low res
You don't want to make the thumbnail too busy though then it can be too much/overwhelming
Now his right hand is all cut off but I see what you're going for with the shadow
Can you add shadow to this configuration? I think the text placement is better like that
Cuz like I said the bottom left doesn't necessarily need to be occupied
That's probably the best one yet
exact same thing just the text is same angel
sorry idk why i replied to a msg
Well it's not the same now the yellow effect is much bigger it looks different. Also I think making at an angle like that doesn't make it better
Still think this is the best for sure
ight ty u think i shoudl use this one?
The rule of thirds shows you have a pretty good composition here. You want the main stuff to be on those 4 intersections
i love the ms paint drawing ðŸ˜
Yeah with that title idea "Abed Nadir: The God of Greendale" I think works
ty so much for this
