I have been working on this for SO long, that i literally can't tell if it looks good or not. Or if it looks really tacky. If you see this, just let me know if the thumbnail looks interesting, and if not, what changes can i make to make it look good?

Sorry for the late reply! The game is "Beyond the shelf", and the video is gameplay of the game.

I see. Although I have seen people use this kind of format (red word with black outline) but never with white but I'll give it a try!

yes, red word with black background is common. in this case however I believe what the other commenter was referring to was that you have red word with black border on red and black background, which makes it more difficult to read. same with the grey blocks, black figure, red sweating from figure etc. it's all too close in the color space that makes it more difficult to discern.
