I'm 25 seconds in and I don't know what this video is going to be about. The thumbnail doesn't show what this is about, the title is??? Why would I want to watch this video? Make a thumbnail that illustrates what the video is about, come up with a more catchy title that makes me want to click it and maybe cut a short 5-10 second intro montage of what is going to be in the video. Right when the video starts you have text that says "I did not notice that my game audio was muted for the first part of this" OK...well this is the first video you post on your channel and you already are posting content thats not top tier. Record a different video where the audio is good and doesnt have this issue or cut that part of the video out so you dont have to put that disclaimer. Who is going to watch 24 minutes of this? YT is entertainment, make sure to give a reason for someone to stick around for 24 minutes.
#Trying to understand how I can improve my videos as a whole.

I’m just curious, how am I to post top tier, if not for trial and error?
Top tier as in your BEST effort.
Its not going to be great from the beginning for anyone. But starting a video with a disclaimer that this video is missing audio? Then don't put that video out or cut out that part so that you dont need a disclaimer.
Noted, I didn’t want to cut out the start as I felt it was kind of critical (as is a better title and description I see that) for those who watch to see me even enter the building
This is the first and only video on your channel. I think the voice over you had was fine, in fact you could even drop in some audio narration on the parts with missing audio to mask the fac that stuff is missing if you really wanted to.
The mic audio definitely is not good. I’m working on that but I have Astro a10s at the moment and they are very restricting in that area. Though I’ve started working on noise cancellation and so on, as well as smoother sounds. I have thought about removing the video as I still have it on DaVinci and working on it until it’s… as good as it can be, being as flawed as it is, would that be a good idea?
Yeah just take it down, polish the heck out of it. Come up with a good catchy title, some good thumbnails, and try again. You're at 7 views (one from me) no big deal. You're not going to destroy your channel or anything negative.
That's what this Feedback section is for. Drop your thumbnails, advice on title etc, so that when you do publish its the best you can make it.
(Most of the views are friends anyways) I’ll do that. I’ll take it down and work on it for the day tomorrow, maybe even scrap it and record one with YouTube in mind instead of live streaming because talking to twitch chat doesn’t really help in editing
Yeah if you can remove the Audio track of you talking and then record your own narration special for YT that would be even better. You could cut it down to a much shorter version using the highlights of action parts of the video to tell a better story for YT
Do you have any tips for that? I still feel awkward talking to myself. I know it’s something to get over and learn but, it’s just verrrryy awkward so it comes off that way to others
Write it down. Heck write it down and then run it through ChatGPT and ask it to embelish the script a bit if you really want to. Read out your narration and then cut your video to your narration.
To be fair, ChatGPT helped me write out the initial thread^ lol.
Ok there you go, you're alredy familiar with it, so do what you gotta do!
I appreciate your honesty and bluntness with it. Tis what I need, in order to learn
