Impressions are based off of how people interact with your video if you get 100 impressions and none of them interact with your video YouTube won't show your video to more people

I'll go back to this again this got views because the backrooms is currently a very popular and searched for topic on YouTube and that video was on a Minecraft mod that just came out so people would be searching for that

This is one of my least viewed videos and the reason it's like that is because it was a horror game that came out a few years ago that not many people care about at the moment

No you told me , if I already had 10 impressions (ex) which I dont and 4 views the impressions would go up if those 4 views did well and so would the views
and I am here trying to tell you I am getting 0 impressions and 0 views

And my reason is because YouTube isn't going to push generic clips about a game that's 3 years old it's as simple as that

You need to focus on a very trendy Niche for shorts, you can't just upload random shorts and expect views, let me give you a nice trick for the sake of impression.

1. Watch shorts on your niche in YouTube, note those shorts that have large sum of views under + they were uploaded under 1 month

2. After finding and noting about 20 of shorts with different ways in the niche start creating those shorts.

3. Upload 2shorts or 1 shorts per 23 hours if first shorts gets nice impressions then upload another one in next 20 hour, if there's no impression then upload after 24 hours. After all shorts are uploaded, wait for 24 hours for all shorts and check which short have the most impression and which doesn't.

4. Delete very low impression shorts and keep others, and continue making shorts on the type of short you got more views.

5. After you get a fixed algorithm of what type of shorts you are growing for example, Gaming, overview, news or something like that then continue on the shorts

6. Start Hybrid Strategy - 4 Shorts + 1 long video / week. Another trick - out of 4 shorts make two shorts in a way that it covers 30 second of your long video and in shorts tell them to watch the complete video in end screen.

I've had 1/10 banger shorts followed by a short that gets 0 impressions
