For me, the click sounds are too loud, so it's hard to understand what you're saying. So maybe try to balance the audio a bit more. Also, some of the pictures don't match what you say (e.g., police officers swarm the high-way and you show a kid on their phone), this might be odd to some people.

I saw someone recommending to write a comment under your own short where you ask a question/start a discussion, so if people look at the comments, they have something to start of with. I don't know whether or not that would work, but you could try 😊 .

Can you see any patterns in the retention graph? Do you have any outliers that have higher than usual engagement?

I gotta agree with the comment on the audio. The balance is definitely off. Additionally, I think your delivery is not energetic enough and doesn't fit the fast-paced narrative and the dramatic music. You should probably work on emphasizing words more firmly. Right now it's just fairly monotonous. Try to emphasize the key words in each sentence. E.g. "The girl didn't just FAKE a kidnapping. She ORCHESTRATED an ENTIRE police mobilization JUST FOR CLOUT.", etc. You also gotta play with the rhythm between sentences.

I'd recommend just looking at some shorts in that style that performed great and repeat each sentence to get a feel for a better delivery.
