I recently posted the video linked below. As of now it has five views in three days. My last couple videos would have hit 40 by now. My thumbnails and titles are not dissimilar for how I do my other ones, so what could it be?

My channel is Movies Over Coffee and the video is my Companion movie review, if you wanted to head straight there. Any feedback is welcome and thanks in advance!!

Okay so I watched up until the 5:18 mark. To be honest I wouldn't say your video is bad. In fact I'll give you props for you voice over audio being pretty crisp and nice to listen to. However, it didn't keep me interested whatsoever. I feel like by around the two minute mark you've seen as much of the movie as you're going to see and I understand avoiding spoilers but it felt like you didn't have all that much to say. It's a great movie, that's funny, a bit of a slow burn at the start with what I can only assume is a cliched ending. The problem with you emphasizing how good it is as much as you do so early in the video is you're telling not showing. I don't know how much dust is on this film if any but it would've been nice to see a small section of a seen you specifically thought was well done instead of what I'm assuming are trailers for the film over and over again. I feel like you did the whole spoiler warning thing at the start of the video but still kinda salsa'd around the key plot points of the film. Not saying you needed to explain in detail how the sausage is made but near the end of this video I felt like I had just as much information as I did at the start. What you could've done is described a scene in the film where the actors are being funny and then transition into a more serious or dark atmosphere. You mention they do a good job of this but never go into detail. Overall I didn't hate the video I watched but i'm no more interested in this film than I was before I watched your review of it.

firstly, thank you for checking it out and for the feedback! secondly, I totally agree with that point. My current struggle is that I don't quite know how to get access to those scenes? Like in that review i kinda describe a scenario where they talk to eachother but am limited to the footage i have aka the trailer.

not sure how other people get those clips so early after release but i'll definitely look into it because i agree it would help my visuals and my details so much more

Okay I've watched your video and hears some things that you could improve, it might take some time to do these things but try. First thing the Title and thumbnail sucks and the video Idea maybe a movie that hasn't been talked about but many other youtube channels already do movie reviews so its a hard market to get into. You got a good voice so you have potential. Use ChatGPT to help you with the process start with some research like what is a unique video that popular channels haven't done yet then you can get it to make a good title and help you with the thumbnail once you've got the video idea and thumbnail you need a good way to get relevant clips to what you're talking about maybe watch the movie and get the clips you want but i don't know how the copyright works so your gonna have to do that research yourself
