Here's one that I like. I just want to know if it feels entertaining, like would you watch this? And if not why/what could I do to make you like it

Today me and Grayson decided to do a challenge where we can only use sidearms, and we try to rank-up in doing so. Watch to the end to see if we make it!

Alright first things up Thumbnails are pretty rough which is fine we all start somewhere but they could use some refinement. The video can be a 10/10 but if no one clicks on the thumbnail no one will ever see it.
I would argue these are not really thumbnails and just screenshots.
So for the first video it takes 11seconds to get to the actual action and I would assume that would be a high click off point.
You have some good ideas but its about execution. Think of it as more show and less tell "guys im going to give you a little edit i died the next seven rounds" could be done better like "anddd I end up dying these next 7 rounds" and you can do like a quick 1-2seconds per clip or just a handful of them. For the after recording voice over I would work on the "ums" and work on a script/outline of things so it can flow a little better.
For me personally I wouldnt watch the content because Its not what I typically watch however I do think there some strong points you do have and with some refinement with thumbnails and editing I think it will be pretty solid.
This experience comes overtime and from continuing to make content. Aim to improve on 1 thing to a handful of things each video.
I would look into either Canva/gimp/paint.net or whatever free photo editing software you want to use for thumbnails and watch a video or two on composition/basic tutorial for that program to get the UI down.
Then spend some time on thumbnails+titles. Its not uncommon for creators to spend just as much time on a thumbnail as the actual editing of the video(not saying do that but find the right balance)
Another thing is to watch your video with as little bias as possible, If this video was served up in your youtube feed would you watch it?
If so why? If not also why? Make notes.
Another tip on thumbnails is look at your homepage and see what thumbnails stick out and draw your eye and which ones dont. I would assume the ones that do have something in common.
Wow thanks a lot! I'll definitely use these and practice on making better thumbnails. Also when you say Think of it as more show and less tell "guys i'm going to give you a little edit i died the next seven rounds" could be done better like "anddd I end up dying these next 7 rounds".... do u mean that instead of doing that I should've just maybe put on some music while the video clips to me dying a couple times/getting kills?
Well background music is nice at times for filling moments of silence and setting the mood if done correctly sure, but what i was saying at that point it felt like extra and it impeded the flow of the video when saying that whole thing about dying 7 times. Like theres multiple ways to get that message across and to not impede the flow/pacing of the video.
What i was saying is a example of how you can do it but not how you have to go about it.
this is just my personal opinion so take with a grain of salt. Everyones editing differently and has different tastes.
