I think it’s a good outline, a serious topic, but my only issue is 30+ plus is a long time, also I’m unsure about the gambling thing

I was gonna use gambling together with MLM and look at the dark patterns of the internet of how you can get money quickly. I'm primarily gonna incorporate gambling as it's very huge right now and also very toxic, but idk if it's too offtopic

You can use it as an example for sure, but i would lean more heavily into the mlm stuff as that is what happens in the show. So kinda like “[talk about mlm] and other examples that show this self destructive tendency are activities such as gambling and drugs. However the overall effect is, these people are so isolated and alone, that addiction, is the only way they know to keep themselves grounded.” Etc etc

they also have the RMT or Real Money Trading with the online game, so i kinda also want to include that, but i think i would use more to explain sunk-cost fallacy, but i don't know if its a good angle. You give very good advice ngl

Ahhhh yeah i forgot about the game, my video was about how escapism can be a bad thing and how all the things satou tries to do to get out of the hikikomori lifestyle hurt him more

But I’m happy to help if you want to start making more serious anime topic essays, thats exactly what i do

I think my vision right now is to do like 50/50 content between serious things and not serious. I have more like a goal for myself where I want to do 100 recommendation, but i think I will talk less about the shows just to talk about it, but find specific things like life as a hikikomori in NHK

Yeah i get you dude, i mean im currently in the middle of changing my video types ive shortened my videos instead and so far its got me a 1/10 video and im literally about to finish my next short one so, thats why i talked about length, if you can keep talking for 30+ mins about something interesting then thats not an issue but if you can’t then you could end up repeating the same point which is something i did in my older videos. So you need to find the balance

i will try to invest in one, im currently using a blue yeti mic without filter, so maybe that's why its scuffed.
with the video length im just guessing. my 5-10 min video is usually about 3-4 pages on Word and right now i have only finished 1-2 of the bullet points and i already have 4 pages, so im predicting that its' gonna be quite long
