#Thumbnail and title doubts

Actually, I got recommended to delete the "Chapter 1" from the title because its already specified on the thumbnail
This is actually really well done in terms of composition. Yt recognizes faces and expressions, but also when it comes to capturing attention, i think the image cane be slightly brighter with more saturation. Mainly in the midtones and mouth area of the monster thing. Its just slightly undercontrasted. The spanish type on the right, is that a spanish monster? Spanish spoken video? Spanish demographic? If its not spanish, i would delete it since cpm is much lower than usa and some eng speaking countries.
The title “i got lost in the toy factory” is not a good title. Yt may misinterpret the title to push to a younger audience initially, but also in correlation to the thumbnail, there are no toys, factory, looking lost…. And then the monster is already revealed without any intrigue. You essentially give away everything in the thumbnail. The height of your fear when the monster in in your face is underwhelming as well. I would be running full speed looking straight ahead in terror.
I think there are perspectives you can use to show maximum terror without revealing everything in the thumbnail. Anyways, i think you are well on your way with the right idea overall, but i would be more mindful of the cohesiveness to aim for high ctr.
It's a Spanish spoken video
Mazelee actually gave some solid advice. This picture first and foremost needs some contrast, brightness and saturation. It's gonna compete with very highly saturated thumbnails and it needs to pop, even as a horror video. Best way to see what works is by looking at people in the same niche, playing poppy playtime and what style of thumbnails they are going for.
I'll keep the spanish text and chapter 1, adds more clarity to the fact that it's a spanish video
Also yeah, the title is too underwhelming.
In the horror niche you need to use buzzwords to make it pop, like "horrifying" or "terrifying"
I changed the title to "Horrors in the Factory ☠️ | Poppy Playtime Chapter 1"
Something like "A MONSTER Lies In This Abandoned Factory"
and also, since it's in spanish,
you can go for a direct spanish title for your video
or you should specify in the title too that it's Spanish
Yeah, I'm just translating what i'm coming up with so English speakers understand it
it'll help the algorithm find the right audience as it uses title, thumbnail, description everything for its metadata
perfect
I have to make one
I mean, i literally only play horror games
that's alright indie horror isn't for everyone
Same as any genre of gaming
Yeaah
I bought both bendy games
They were on sale
Like 10$
hell yeah
Yeah...
unless it's like garten of banban
i know like all the lore of fnaf, and by all I mean ALL, including faz goo and soul eating stuff
Damn, that's dedication
I just like the some of it's concepts here and there
For me, FNaF is a mixed bag
Mostly mid experiences, a few good ones
And a lot of overcomplicated stuff
By the way, @minor falcon
Would you mind if I show you my Steam library?
So you can recommend me what could I play next after Poppy Playtime Chapter 1
...I don't have the 10 bucks for chapter 2 lol
play indigo park
it's a mascot horror and it's free on steam
what genre are u aiming for
Well, I'm not really skilled tbh
I'd aim for platformers
It's my favorite genre of games, even tough I'm pretty bad
Maybe I should give some good talk in compensation, right?
I bought Sonic Mania
And an obscure indie platformer with Splatoon-like mechanics
if u like it, make content on it
even if you're bad at it, it'll make fun content if you make it entertaining
you should always play games you enjoy because you'll have to do it for years if u wanna be successful
and it's gonna burn u out if you don't enjoy it
Yeah
I don't want to feel burnt out like Markiplier
Haha
I've heard he's getting tired of FNaF
i mean it's very weird
markiplier isn't burnt out tho
he is an indie horror channel
he still plays indie horror
just not fnaf
and he's so big now he can play whatever
people will watch
Yeah, that makes sense
So, playing everything is more for big youtubers
But for smaller ones it's recommended to play similar games so it stays consistent for your audience, right? @minor falcon
yes
the harder you niche in, the easier to grow because people come back more often
That makes sense
Maybe a few exceptions here and there in the niche wouldn't hurt the channel, right?
I could do some kind of off topic dynamic at some point
But first, I'll focus on platformer stuff
And a few indie horror games
you will notice a significant drop in views
because initially people would come for your niche
and then they'll stay for your personality
Makes sense
I'll need to adapt my personality for videos
Not changing it, but learning to drop some creative comments based on who I am as I play
Thinking out loud without feeling vague
@minor falcon Hii, Mexy!
I'm doing a thumbnail for a new video
I need some feedback on it, if you don't mind
go for it
