I have about a 6% ctr for this video rn. I have no clue if thats good or not lol
On low sample size videos the stats dont mean much Like <1k views ctr is easily fluctuated by 20-30views. So Your better off looking at your retention graph and see if theres any steep drop offs on that graph. Those steep drops are where something made the viewer click off.
From the quick glance i took you have some peaking with your voice over.
Now ctr by itself doesnt mean a whole lot. Sure it means how the % of people who saw your thumbnail and decided to give it a shot.
But if your video blows up over night and you get 1million impressions your ctr would be like 0.2% with like 50k views. For a small channel thats a win.
The time you should be worried about your ctr is when its 0.2% when you have sub 100 views but like thousands of impressions.
The average is 2-10% but itll constantly flucuate. Mine hover 4-7% but ive had as high as 12.5%. Theres a randomness to it.
yeah I think i gave my mic a little too much gain in obs. Its normally very quiet so I'll have to dial that in with software. Thank you for the in depth response
