Notes: Ok most points lost here were because of the meme-y edits, which I'm going to rant about in a moment lol, so instead lets focus on audio. Audio is EVERYTHING on Youtube, and it's also insanely tricky to get right.

Your audio is too quiet, by about -5.8 db. Its also def not balanced or compressed or normalized and its really off in comparison to the game which IS balanced audio. This would make me personally click off VERY fast if it wasn't for your amazing personality (extra,triple props, I'm going to rave about you below lol). I'd normalize your audio and gameplay audio seperately (if the game needs ot, no idea) and then redjust and maybe normalize again with both tracks together.

Notes: To be upfront, this will be a very subjective answer. A lot of people could REALLY like this tyle of thumbnail, and if youre going for a memey video with lots of memey edits, then this style CAN work! It veers off the standard letpslay thumbnail style, which WORKS quite well, but at the cost of losing claruty and maybe even confusing the viewer on what type of video this is. If this is a branding idea and you commit to this style for every thumbnail give or take it can work as people grow to regonzie you, but it will liekly confuse new comers

Notes: I think you have such a sweet and energetic personality!! I really can find the connection to the audience (see next category) and I can really tell you have a passion at least in the "presentation"/full cam sections. I loved the sweet message you gave at the end and your optimistic outlook! I have to say, you lost me pretty heavily with the mixing of editing styles (it becomes distracting) and the ending was way to long for me to give it full points, even though I think it was a sweet and touching moment!

To clarify a bit, I think the average FAN viewer will watch your outro with no issues, because it was sweet and touching. I think the average viewer will leave early because theres not much at that point to keep the average persons interest. Of course, we make videos for the communitys we aspite to create, and if that means you community likes longer intros with a sweet touch to them, then do it! You'll likely just have a lower retention than if you didn't.|

But the biggest issue I had here was the editing. It's lack of consistency really ruined the flow and made the video feel "jarring." I dont think you need so many memey edits, as your personality is actualy really playful on its own!

Audio is everything! I agree!! I had this anxiety, that I am going to make people's ear bleed! I have been trying to fiddle with the audio. Okay I need to work on that! Im so happy this helped you! I could give one piece if you'd like! Be as loud as you want in your recording (as long as you dont peak your audio recorder past -3 db ish, aka the red zone, you'll be ok~!) And then pop the videos audio into an editor (audanciyt si amazing and free!) and after you clean it or do whatever edits you want take the finalaudio and do a loudness normalization to -14 lufs. This will keep your audio from hurting anyone (as long as you dont surpass -3 db)

Oh thank you! And uh no, I don't. I just used to have horrific audio and I also have a super high pitched voice that I hurt people whenever I screamed 💀 😂

I use OBS and I scream a couple times at the start of the video to make sure I dont go red. Then when Im done I seperate out the tracks and I plop them into audacity (or audition, depends on my mood really, theyre the same ish thing) and then I clean them, compress, and then do my editing. When Im done I set the Lufs to -14 across all tracks

The Thumbnail

That is a great observation, you are correct! I want to make my thumbnails opposite of what people expect from a letsplay video! I agree on the lack of clarity on the thumbnails. If I were an average viewer, I would think it has something to do with wojak/meme stuff not a game! I am willing to change the thumbnail style, not really attached to anything right now!

Kinda! Yeah! But also I adjust my gain levels in obs (the numbers under the tracks) so that I can ensure I never go over even if Im screaming on the top of my lungs

Have you tried using limiter? It will stop you from ever going into a the red! Being the fact that your voice is high pitch, have you ever thought of doing voice acting?

Also I want to say something about your thumbnail for the satanic girlfriend, it is a GREAT thumbnail design! How did you make it?

I do voice act from time to time, mostly just for friends or when I randomly want to switch it up (or if I want to scare my partner lol). I do use a limiter, actually, sometimes, but rarely. I dont really need one. I don't actually scream that loud so simpl adjusting my gain works wonders for me. I do use it though when my mic is brought up close

Oh thank you!! Its a photo of a satan-cosplay (free-use) that I edited. I removed her horns, replaced her hair, adjusted the colors, etc so it looks more "follower" and less "is satan"

Then i replaced the bakcgorund and went ham with the fuzz

Simple: I dont everything at once and I bounce around and dont take every hobby seriously

I pick a few things that I want to dedicate myself to (my core friend group, my family, and YT), and everything else I switch in and out of when I feel like it. Voice acting is passive to me. I just switch it on and it takes like a few seconds. Cosplay? Yeah like, once a year for funsies and Im no pro. And everything else is like that
