I’ve been making game review/ scripted commentary videos for awhile and I’m tired of it. I want to switch my content to gaming videos with just me talking while playing a game so I can express my personality a bit more but the vid flipped. That could just be because my channel doesn’t really feature shooters so my subscribers might just not care about the game, but regardless, does anyone have any advice on how to switch smoothly.

im not sure theres a way to "smoothly tansition" like you say, the best idea of that would probobly just to post a mixture of gaming and commenaty videos till u transition.
but personally i think you may as well just go all out on your gaming videos because theres no point in making videos if you dont enjoy it. And its better to switch before you get bigger as well while your smaller. I think you should just fully make the switch and try your best but still making sure the video is made well as with all videos. But good luck

I don't why you would switch cause the vids were doing well. But I think while the thumbnail may be fine. The video is 44 minutes long and no one simply wants to watch a video of straight video and commnetary unless it is a video essay

Yeah you’re right. I think I’m gonna keep making the videos I’m making, I’ll just take a short break because it hasn’t been fun lately. I’ll start posting the gaming videos on a second channel
