#FEEDBACK NEEDED URGENT

I tried but that is -5 db
Immediate feedback: I think your speaking style is great, casual / approachable, definitely works for me (as a fellow gamer).
One small piece of feedback: I would probably** say the name** of the developer in the video -- Abodia -- so it doesn't feel like you added it in post. I might also say, "I've linked their Itch.IO in the description so check em' out" to show them some love.
I like the judge art / the holy sound effect, got a laugh. 😂
Great job! 👏
thank you buddy
also would suggest turning off the LED
Honestly i know the fix. I have a good mic but my room is too echoey to use it now and fixing that costs money i dont have so thats just my issue to deal with now
Background? Think it would be better white or dark?
foam pads?
yeah doing my room up would cost about 150 bucks all things considered
it doesnt need to be completely dark
womp womp
cool. they can be dimmed as well. Thanks for the note
have a light on your face coming from an angle but make sure you dont blind yourself
i have a lamp right next to me that i turn towards the wall for reflecting light and gives a warm yellow glow
thats what i tried to do as well but unfortunately i mounted my leds a little too close together and its gonna be a pain to fix
but i will try
As far as the content? any notes. Youve talked plenty but truthfully i want to know how the words themselves come across
Found out i can just bend my mic back a ton and it gets rid of the peaking lol, thank you for making me think
np
also for talking in general there isnt much to say its good you get to the point it doesnt feel like you're reading a script or are sitting there looking like you have a poll up your ass( thats what i do) so its good
You have a pole up your ass? yikes
jk but honestly... there was a script. i couldn't get my words together
just re recorded the intro with you guys' help. Thank you for your words
I will leave this open for a while for any new opinions people!! let me know what you think
What program do you use to record?
Only feedback I personally have would be going into the settings for the camera on whatever program you use and setting the exposure down just a bit. It'll get rid of the washed out look and make the video as a whole look a bit cleaner
I look that way because I (like an idiot) was running an led to the left of me AND in front of me... unfortunately my webcam is less than optimal and i use just the preinstalled camera app to record. I did re-record with slightly less light but I did notice that color washing on replay
Hopefully just running less light will help that issue lol
Hey I hear you, I have a very shitty little webcam I use, but you can adjust the settings (almost) always either way
I'll give that a shot. Appreciate your thought step dad
Second thought, lean FULLY into it and add an industrial flood light directly above your monitor
I had one in my amazon cart but i was reconsidering!! Now you have given me the confidence to become totally unhinged thank you
I actually use these for backlight sometimes and they're great
they are blinding though
I use a two for $6 pack of puck lights but THEY ARE B R I G H T
i use a elgato ring light and a razer kiyo, but yeah audio and lighting
