Rate this thumbnail (from 1 - 10) and what can be improved on

text is pretty small, even the top one is pretty bad. Basically smallest text should be so its still readable on phones for thumbnails is '5 high' so stacking the text 5 times should cover 100% of the height of the image

not a hard rule or anything but yeah small text is not a good bet

Image looks good but more work can be done on text fonts and colours. "VS" can be some other colour (e.g red) to give a differentiation between two contestants.

honestly looks pretty dull and cheaply made. just two planes, image and text. look at people who make DCS videos, im sure there are better looking thumbnails that u can take inspiration from. goodluck!
