Your thumbnails, logo, and channel banners are bad. They look unprofessional and amateur. It looks like they were made in 2010 and not 2024. If you want to get better, I highly suggest you look at bigger YouTubers who are in the same niche as you for inspiration
how do I do better
Create more professional looking thumbnails, logos and banners
i think you gotta focus on content first and formost
some visuals would be nice
if youre adamant about just using a camera pointed at yourself then use a better camera angle
and a better mic for sure
the reason my voice sounds soft spoken I'm nervous I'm camera shy
I've been trying at this for 5 yrs & still camera shy in person I'm the most confedent person you'll but on camera
you can be soft spoken and shy
where you can improve is everything else
hell you dont even need a camera
just play clips and record a voice over track with your mic
but I'm not I'm just that way on camera
my video software that I do those is got a watermark filmora
With kindness, maybe youtube isn't for you, right now
I've been trying for 5 yrs
i dont think you shouldnt make videos
just put in some consideration for presentability
yeah, there is a lot of room for improvement. I'd restart from 0 and build up a new style that works better for you. Ditch the camera if you can't speak in front of a camera. Get a dedicated mic, this just won't cut it. Record voice lines and use b-roll. Don't just read a scrip. It might be better to outline the topics you want to talk about and then just leave in the good stuff in editing. Learn editing. Learn more about writing. Learn what pacing is and how to keep a topic engaging. Edit a video after that. And then still ditch 50% of the video after you are done editing.
I agree that instead of filming from this angle, you shouldn’t film at all. It doesn’t do anything for your content. It’s not engaging, just super weird.
Also, if you ask for feedback and people point t in many directions that you can improve (which is every single direction in your case) and you just don’t wanna change the ways you do things, then you should simply continue doing what you do and keep on wondering. :)
I'm not saying you shouldn't ever make videos again - but it sounds like you've lined up reasons that most of this advice won't work for you, and if you aren't able to do anything to make your content better (right now), maybe it would be more fun for you to take a break and pursue other passions vs grinding yourself into oblivion for the same disappointing results. Life should be fun and creative pursuits should be rewarding!
how do I good thumbnails when I do cartoon history & everythings copyrighted
Thumbnails should be the least of your concerns. Make better content first
Many people have explained it to you already. We can explain it for you but we can't understand it for you. Start by learning about the basics. Learn editing. Learn a bit about writing, storytelling, pacing. Get a better mic and look into audio recording and editing. If you have more specific questions we can help. But until you don't even know what to ask, it looks like you are expecting someone to spoon-feed you everything there is to know about video production
