#How to Have Different Colours on YouTube Subtitles?

I was watching a video by Grian (a Minecraft YouTuber) and I noticed something cool he did to his subtitles - when he is talking, they are white, but when someone else is, it's a different colour. These aren't subtitles in the video editing software btw, these are YouTube subtitles for the video. How does he do this? (Here's an example of it in a recent video of his - https://youtu.be/y0-aZ9AI_zw?si=gLW9HBAS0VSnbgdI)

Hermitcraft 10 episode 2 grian makes a start on the new hermitcraft season. Our goals are derailed by the urge to fish.

Hope you enjoy!

What editing software do you use?

Ahh sorry I use, davinchi resolve (free) and premiere pro (paid). This feature is an easy fix on those platforms

I have no idea, but I'm also intrigued- following this so I can find out when someone shares the answer!

there are some things you can get if you pay but they're not like necessary parts of the editing process

So not always an option for people

My old 6700k machine With 8 gigs of ram struggled.

And even that machine is better than what a lot of creators have

and not hard-coded subtitles in the video itself

#

TL DR; create stylized subtitles inside of Aegisub, use YTSubconverter to make it a .ytt file

#

then upload that file directly instead of typing them out etc.
