I would say that the others are more “in your face” when opening

#

My voice is normally heard instantly

#

but other than the 4 seconds of typing sounds not really :/ i used to make more upbeat vids maybe that did something too

Okay 30 seconds in and it's already kinda bad

Why are there subtitles flying all over the place

Also your animations feel very jittery

#

Money, cars. women, men

#

They jump way too fast and your script should slow down on that part, maybe add a slower fade-out effect

#

And your opening segment was a bit too quiet, amplify your voice a bit at the beginning

#

And yeah, slow down the talking speed in general, your words are important and this is a video essay, make sure that your audience has enough time to listen and comprehend everything most of the time

It's not an invalid angle to tackle this problem, but your framing is inconsistent

i am thinking more about your reply and i really see what you mean. I have allot more to say but because of the fear to not upload ''on schedule'' i left out allot of things

Ill take longer with editing and improving, 3 vids a week and a stream a month

Yeah this topic is way too big to cover in a 7 minute video, and you've gone from a general description to obsession, to your own experience, to where you think obsession comes from, to what the proposed solution is

This could've easily been a 20-40 minute essay
