Wait you just uploaded several other creators content, in one entire video, without making any editing changes what so ever?

not exactly true @uneven kernel

i cut down the source videos to the most relevant content needed for the video i made. started out with over 12 hours of footage and cut it down to under an hour. also each clip has credits that fade in and out

#

here are some similar examples on youtube doing the same thing

Yeah... that's not reformative work I believe. So if you are looking to get partnered with YouTube, I don't think that will work.

Reused Content
By reused content, we mean channels that reuse someone else's content without providing significant original commentary or educational value. This policy is taken from the Search Console section of the AdSense program policies, contextualized to be more relevant to creators.

This policy applies to the entire channel. In other words, revenue generation may be removed for the entire channel if you have many videos that do not adhere to the guidelines.

What Can You Earn Money From?
The idea behind this policy is to reward creators with original content that is genuine and adds value for viewers. If you modify content you did not create in a fun or thoughtful way, you have changed the content. It is okay to upload this type of content to the channel, but individual videos may be subject to other policies, including the copyright policy. Reused content is allowed if viewers can see that the original video and your video differ meaningfully.

Note: These examples do not violate the policy for revenue generation from reused content, but they may still be subject to other policies, including the copyright policy.

  • Clips for a review.
  • A scene from a movie where you have rewritten the dialogue and changed the voiceover.
  • Moving images from a sports tournament where you explain the tricks or tactics a participant used to win.
  • Reaction videos where you comment on the original video.
  • Edited video material from other creators where you have added a story or commentary.
  • Remixed content in Shorts where you add original content to a song from our library or original sound or video segment from other videos.

The last steps - which if any are upheld gives money earning possibilities - are not followed by your video..?

Victor is right

#

but if you don't care about getting partner with youtube or not here are some tips

#

i would guess that you want "2024" to stand out the most give nthe red color. if that's teh case, i would make it even brighter because the youtube play button on your thumbnail is even brighter

#

i also wouldn't use a pure black background becase it blends in alot with youtube dark mode users

#

you can use a white background bcz i dont think a lot of people us YT white version but even then i would encourage to do more effort on the background

#

Jimmy his face pointing at the title is a nice touch

There is plenty of truth to what Victor said. Don't block out criticism because it doesn't fit with what you want. That kind of content in the long run will cause you many issues.
If it does go viral and you generate lots of views and subscribers from it and similar videos then apply for monetization it WILL be denied, YouTube will manually inspect your channel and deem that the content is not transformative and may take action then and there against your channel.
A lot of YouTubers also have agencies that they hire to scour the internet and take down clips and videos containing their content, if you meet the ire of one of these companies they do not play nice.
Instead of simply taking their clips and playing them you could instead condense their knowledge down into your own video with your own commentary and footage, now despite not having the experience of these people you are still giving valid information to the viewer as it's been gleaned from a reliable source.

thank you for the advice! my main issue with the other guy is that he refused to actually provide any advice toward my initial question (title/thumbnail) and went straight into what he wanted to talk about. those are the type of people who just want to hear themselves talk, and not someone whos genuinely looking to provide helpful feedback.

nonetheless, I will take what you said and transform the video with more editing and i'll also cut myself in after the clips to describe what the viewer just heard and how they can put it into actionable steps. thank you!

Does anyone have an example of a content creator who has successfully executed this strategy?
