My new video thumbnails and titles vs my old video thumbnails and titles?

Hey guys I just changed my thumbnails and video titles yesterday and Needed a bit of opinion if the changes are good or bad. First 2 are the old video thumbnails my current video set is of Solo friendly missions in the game Grand Theft Auto Online.

The first set of thumbnails and titles I decided to do was to have the title as Grand Theft Auto Online Solo Friendly Missions: and then add the title of the mission to the and add text to the thumbnail that referred to what you have to do in that mission.

For the first of my old thumbnails the title was Grand Theft Auto Online Solo Friendly Missions: A Titan Of A Job. In the mission you have to steal a plane called a Titan. So in the Thumbnail text I said Let’s Steal A Titan. There wasn’t anything really bad about it that I could see but I decided to change it and replace the original thumbnail text with the mission name A Titan Of A Job and replaced the mission name in the title to episode 1.

The second one is for my 4th video which is kind of made me want to change all of my thumbnails to the second design. In the mission for this video you have to steal a car in the game that is called a benefactor schafter so I wanted to try to be clever with the words referring to the mission objectives and decided on the title being Grand Theft Auto Online Solo Friendly Missions: Ballas to the wall which was the name of the mission. The Thumbnail Text I came up with was Time to Schift a Schafter adding a C to Shift to match the spelling of the name of the car. I ended up changing it replacing the original thumbnail text with Ballas To The Wall the mission name and replacing the mission name in the title with Episode 4.

The reason i changed to the new design is because some one said no thank you to the 2nd thumbnail. This made me want to change it because I didn’t know if it was a joke or not. Any way I would like to know if you think the change is better.

titles are uninterresting. I would try changing it to something like "The best mission for solos for money" Or something like that, depending on what the mission is for

too much text on the thumbnails, and the purple and green combo isn't really working for me

also, make the focus object way bigger, and add a blur and outline around it to make it stand out instead of the green circle

could also add a red arrow

and adjust the colors, it looks really bland

for the title you could also do "The best way to do _________ for Solos"

will defo be more appealing than what you currently have

also, don't put the whole name of the game, just shorten it to GTA. if someone is looking for how to do the mission they would already know its GTA from the mission and the thumbnail

The object of focus is too small in the thumbnail

Agree with Flame on the titles and font colors

Also, you should only capitalise the main words

Should I remove the text from the thumbnail entirely or just replace it with something else and as for color I've read that I should stay away from the youtube logo colors is that true.

in this case probably better to replace the text with something else

and staying away from youtube logo colors is bs

red is probably the best color to make stuff stand out

something short and simple

like "BEST WAY" or "EASIEST METHOD"

anything that will make it seem special
