game audio is too loud compared to your voice
I turned it down almost all the way. But noted!
mine are the same - between 1 and 5% on windows' volume mixer. but i'm ignorant of audio stuff so, maybe you can also pump up your own mic, somehow.
I used to do let's plays for years. You'd be shocked how quiet the game needs to be relative to your voice. :x
I second what Sad said. It's fine with just one audio ofc, but as soon as you're talking and there's game audio. it's too hard to hear you.
There's strange bit-rate issues at 3:18. Something happened when you rendered it maybe?
Can you do 1080p/60fps? 720/50fps isn't great, especially in 2022. Speaking of 2022 and let's plays, why watch your let's plays over any else's?
I'm only focusing on negatives that could be improved on btw. so that's why not mentioning the good haha
yeah, i'm inclined to agree. 'x still holds up' is a good format, but maybe for a slightly lesser known game. pretty sure dead space 1 is like, universally loved. and that title fits a single video, anyway, in my experience. like either an intro, or an essay
I don't have a proper capture card, i stream to my PC and record that. So it'll be better when i move soon.
Keep in mind like 90% of your views will only be on the first video of a let's play series. So if it gets better on video 5, like 2% of people will see it
If I'm super frank. I wouldn't do a Let's play in 2022, and especially not for Dead Space. I think you can make videos that you're interested and excited to make about these games, that'll also get you some views. I don't think a let's play will unfortunately, unless it's something super unique.
if you want to do it anyway and just for fun, then by all means tho
