theres probably korean typing lesson websites u can use, or what i like to do is if you go to the language in the top right corner and click show keyboard a little keyboard will pop up so you can practice with that
there's a game from gobilly that you can use to practice memorizing hangul's placement on the keyboard

thank you !!!!!!!
heyy I WOULD LIKE TO JOIN
yes i would! i'm pretty meh at korean rn lol so i'd totally love to join a bunch of other korean learners and help each other out

i actuallu started learning it when i first got into kpop, so 2018, and i feel like i’ve improved my calligraphy, my speaking and also my reading, but i have a struggle with vocabularies💀 I mean Ik some words cuz they r really common and you can hear them everywhere (ya, honorifics, naneun johahae/etc, jinja, wae, etc), but i still cant form proper sentences😭😭 But i’d like to try tho:)
Same. I've been learning korean since 2019 and I can kinda read sentences and kinda figure out what it's saying and I can write pretty well and i also know common words but I still can't speak in sentences yet either. That's where I struggle at
YES! i've learned all the things abt hangul such as pronounciation and stuff and ik a few words but i would like to start learning more words.
Yes!! I’d been learning Korean and my current level should be around intermediate level. It would be nice to practice through nct contents together
id love to join too if the invite is still open! i’ve been learning korean since 2017 with formal classes and did some language immersion in korea too, so i’d say i’m at a pretty advanced level. i also used to translate / make subtitles for nct videos with neosubs so i’d be down to help out any beginners!
Hey I'd like to join as well
Omg pls cause I be struggling! 😭
Heyy! I can’t send you guys a dm, I will need to add you/need to add me first if thats ok 🥺 @wheat hemlock @radiant torrent
is this still open??

I would like to, but I'm already Korean 💀
That sounds fun! I knew Korean when I was younger since my Harlmony was trying to teach me Korean but then I stopped learning it when I went to elementary school but I’ve been taking classes at the Korean school where I live for over a year now (^ν^)
Hi I am learning korean by using drops it's an app.
Oh yeah so i read this and I'm actually Korean and I used to live there for some time. id be willing to help anyone with it. Js Dm me!
Oh I have used drops as well it is such a nice app :)
Yh it is and there r many topics where u can learn to speak korean. But I am struggling with korean vowels.
Yes I really need help. 😩
Hi guys if u all want to learn korean then join nct study group server.
I’m trying but I keep taking long breaks and then forget the things I learned then give up bc it’s too hard😭 esp self studying
yes 2 years ago I learned Korean initially from YouTube then I joined groups learning Korean, I'm learning Korean because I watch Korean dramas. I want to watch them without seeing subtitles, ahahah that's basic Besides that, I'm also a fan of NCT, so I want to learn the language they use every day, especially if they live, they will definitely use Korean or English, but most of them are Korean, so I have to learn to understand what they say
omg a studying group i love it i started learning hangul this past month and i had fun with it
i took a break this week and it's so hard to get back and focus 😫
super late but im learning! i took an intro class at my college last semester and found it really easy. im learning bc my moms from korea and shes gonna be disappointed if i dont lmao
ooo this would be cool
I already know how to read and pronounce but I still don't have vocabulary
I want to learn but I have no idea where to start
would you like to join the study group then?
hsuahsha i wanna join too! i do know some common words and phrases and can read hangul too
I feel you! Let’s try and get through it 😭
@plush copper
Thank you
np
Anyone who is learning Korean or who knows Korean can you please teach me some?
ooo can I join the study group? I go to a Korean school every Saturday but I need someone to practice talking with and a study group sounds fun ^^
Same. I would like to join. How do I join?
Yup! I’m not great at it but I’m trying my best
I have literally been studying korean on duo. Haven't had much time recently but yaa💚
I just started learning too but I've wanted to learn with kpop and with a group of nice people so I'm totally interested. How can I join?
i've been learning korean for 3 years and i've attained a level of understanding i didn't think i'd get. i really enjoy it and i'd like to study in a group

Are you still adding people to the server? I'm interested, but I know it's been nearly a year since you opened it up, so I just want to check.
Can I have it? Thank you!
Ofc ^^
I've sent you a friend request, when you accept it I'll be able to dm you the invite :3
Done!

🙋♀️ I'm interested
Sent you an invite!
I'm interested as well!
Hi!! I want to join as well if it's not too late🫶🏻
Heyy if no one else is being added then do you wanna be study buddies??
hi guys, i can add y'all but just so you know at the moment the study group server is pretty much dead ^^"
I'd like to join, y'know, make new friends, and do it just in case! I can still join, can I?
you can i think but theres absolutely no activity anymore lol rip
revive!
i recently started learning about a month ago and have really felt like i’ve progressed
😁
Would anyone be interested to form a study group? I've always wanted to study through NCT content (any videos, song lyrics, etc) but never really got to start because I had no friends to discuss with.
i've literally only just started but my plan for this summer was going to be to try learn some basic korean so that would be super cute with a little group
I would love too, cause I've been learning basic Korean in the past couple week. Starting another one is not a bad idea
If I have free time I would like to join too~ I learning Korean word by myself and learn how to communicate with korean neighbors, can read some words but can't fully understand the sentence
I will recommend 'Write It! Korean' app and 'Duolingo' app for beginner skill, hope it helps
Ahh thank you for showing interest! I figured that you're mainly just starting recently, are you already familiar with Hangeul
@lunar wadi @dense belfry
Ooh that's nice! How long have you been learning?
can I also ask how long have you guys been learning
@pseudo needle @forest kiln
that's... basically where i'm at right now.. 🤭
i'm familiar with the characters but that's my current stage getting familiar with it
I want to learn Korean but the thing is idk where to start 😭
I kinda familiar with it, but still need a lot of fix to it
Sorry, my English just axarshydbrhd
im interested. ive been learning for somewhere around 4 years [very very inconsistently], having others to practice with sounds nice
i recommend TTMIK instead of duolingo, for grammar at least. maybe duolingo can be used like on the side but i dont rec it for main studying, at least thats what i hear.
Ooh that's okay! It won't take too long to actually familiarize yourself I think. I learned it through LingoDeer app and trying to read every Korean word I see
you have to learn Hangeul first! Once you're familiar with it, you can begin by learning basic grammar. I can help to share some sources if you want
that's what was going to be my next step!
yeah i've just finished university for summer so i'm hoping now i have time !!
nin study group leader

Yess!!
thanks
omg 4 years! I started early 2020 but still a beginner bc my mind would always go blank when I try to speak sigh
also I can understand some words in Korean lol
oooh that's exciting!! i remember trying to learn from a lot of sources then i got overwhelmed lol
yeah... i did a japanese module last semester at university and that guided my learning but learning yourself can get super overwhelming really fast...

I would like to join!! I have been really on & off about learning Korean because learning Hangul always seemed so hard to me 🤧 I know the basics, and I know how to pronounce them but my main issue is just the alphabet on itself
long time ago and decided to pick up korean language last year, still in beginner
i have been learning some korean on and off since highschool cause i had an exchange student for a while who taught me a little bit! i think it would be nice to have a little study group to get me back on track actually studying
Oh hi! I learned it for 2 years but i stopped since I focused a lot in my classes more these past few years so i stopped studying and learning it but now that i have free time since our school year just ended im planning to study it again or study chinese ^^
i would also be interested in joining!! i've been learning korean seriously for about 2 years by now since i took classes in university, so i would say i'm around a low intermediate level by now. i'm willing to help any beginners or hold each other accountable :)
story of my life. my mind goes blank even in english bc social anxiety so trying to speak in korean is just a terrible time for me. hopefully we'll all improve
yes i am, but i want to know what are some free language learning apps
hii hii! i've been there done that. it did take a while for me to be familiar as well, but that's ok we can hold each other accountable then
aww okay come come!!
ahh i see! you must be somewhere in upper beginner then? if you want to study chinese in the study group that's ok too hehe
HIII thank you for being interested! i'm probably somewhere in low intermediate or upper beginner as well and wouldn't mind to also help out any beginners here
hii there's a lot of it, but my favorite is Memrise for visual learning reasons! you can also use Duolingo (not my favorite but a lot of people use it), Drops (nice design + only lets you study for 5 mins per day), LingoDeer (I learned Hangul from this app)
Oh ok thank you
im also interested in joining!! ive always wanted to learn the language ever since i started stanning and watching kdramas! im not a dedicated learner but ive already been communicating with my korean friends using hangeul since im already familiar with the characters and even in speech thanks to the multiple basic expressions ive learnt over the past few years
I'm interested in joining! I started learning a bit of korean because of kpop and nct although I don't think I'm fluent yet. I have a few friends who are korean and I would love to be able to understand and have more confidence in the language!
Same here! I know some basic and also random words and I tried to study Korean via duolingo and LingoDeer but I haven’t done it in a while, so yes, I’d love to join!
Who's fluent though?
I'm also interested in joining! ^^ I used Duolingo for quite some time. :3
i started korean just so i could understand the songs 😭 this is what my duolingo looks like rn
i'm finally getting basic grammar
unfortunately, i'm nowhere near fluent yet but the purpose of the group would be to motivate & hold each other accountable for learning the language, so we'll just study together. i'm not sure there's anyone advanced enough that could maybe help us if we need anything
but if any of you has friends that may be interested to help, we could work on something hehe
thank you so much for showing interest, you guys!
i'm trying to think of ways of how this could work, but you're all welcome to join once all set ❤️ please set low expectations tho
@molten sage @honest fiber @mental iron @ebon spade @pastel pumice
I learned Hangul and some basic words through Duolingo like couple months ago but when I lost my streak a deleted it so recently I started using it again so I def need motivation to continue😭
maybe a groupchat or a private server or… unless you wanna keep it within this server ???
yes i'm currently making a private server!
i'll be sending out an invite soon to those who show interest! if there's anyone who'd like to later be invited, you can also maybe dm me :))
tysm !! <3
@keen sapphire if you're interested there's a korean study server just been made !
hii shu! i can’t dm nor add you, feel free to add me first and i’ll share later 😊
have i invited everyone? i’m afraid i might miss someone hajsjs but please let me know!

yahh i've changed my settings but they dont seem to work :( sorry
wait a bit
😭
why
pain and suffering
ahhh why is it like that lol 😦 can you add me?
okayyy
Oo I’m interested in joining as well!,I was actively learning it for a few weeks but lost interest,i would love to get back to it
Hey guys~ I would love to join as well. I've (unsuccessfully) tried to learn korean quite some times. I am only familiar with hangul and some really basic vocabulary tho. Id love to change that and learn more languages. So please add me toooo~~
I would love to! I already know Hangeul and can read it
why did i just saw this now 😭
i'm very familiar with hangul, but the grammar kills me, and do you guys have any tips on how to learn new words?
watch everything u can
videos shows movies
or if you can, having conversations is the best and helps u improve really quickly but if thats not possible than i recommend just exposing yourself to the language a lot
its ok!! if you’re still interested to join just let me know!
also i started learning by using a specific textbook so that i can learn both grammar & vocab in parallel. But if you want to start with vocab, I’d say using an app could help like Memrise, Duolingo, LingoDeer etc
yes! that's really helpful but i have to watch it on low speed so i can process what they're saying
unfortunately i don't have someone that i can talk to in hangul :((
hello! i'm very much interested to join. feel free to send me the invite link ^^
thats totally fine, putting on captions if available is also helpful to connect what youre hearing to the english word
but i find its easy to become reliant on captions, so maybe once w captions and once without?
it works for me like this! but it only works if i'm watching in slow speed or if i have watched with the captions first then without, or if i'm watching cartoon lol
i'll try this! ^^ thank you so much
listening to their nursery rhymes is helpful too!
Hey guys! Just a recommendation... you can watch a korean cartoon called hello jadoo[ in korean] it's fun to watch and at the same time I learnt new korean words
