I was the same. Wanted to do engineering. Ended up going forensic Psychology instead (to please my family. So I always liked horses but my family is very non horsey

When I was 9 I think my aunt and uncle had a huge 50th birthday party and my aunt and cousin ride, so they payed for me and all my cousins to go for a pony ride

And I had a knack for it
