I'm not sure if regular earplugs for sleeping have the same effect, since i've never used them to tell. The ones I have were from the music section of a store and made specifically to help you deal with loud noises. They were cheap and pretty good. I have sensitive ears so they've been a blessing in concerts, cinemas other loud places. And the best part is that I could still hear people talking to me!

Personally, I'd rather buy closer seats than stand the whole time

But it depends on the price too

It's pretty much the same if you get last seats in N10 or first seats in N7, but N7 is less expensive than N10

If you're going for standing, keep in mind that lots of people are going for barricade and they'll be pushing you and so on

But if you want a close view or record fancams of something, then standing is better
