#best phone under 30k ?
1 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
I gave my mom Poco F5 and its been ticking along really well. Outside of preinstalled apps which I disabled, there are no ads either, atleast on the one I have.
Exchange it. It's a bad model.
Pixel has QA issues and they'll replace it for free under warranty.
Tell them you need a phone during that time
A friend of mine got an upgraded model through that lol
From 4a to 6a 💀
Hyderabad service centre, if it matters
Idk, i thought he was just lucky
Can't really verify since he's the only pixel owner in India that i know lol
got Nothing phone 2A for mom recently, its a good phone
yeah because it is double the price and half the features
8 hours is no where near bad
also never heard of an iP getting that much SOT
send proof
46k
p7
9 hrs
yeah lol
its not comparable
if u get a oneplus, u can do better than 9 hrs
i do like that with iphones a lot ot stuff different android phones are found excelling, one iphone does them all but at a lower level
best camera? pixel
best performance? samsung
insane specs? oneplus
iphones have all three but its the master of none
i mean it pretty buggy according to my iphone user friends
but also more features do cause more bugs
usually 13 or 14
sometimes 11
the problem with iphone is that once they're able to brainwash people into hating androids with that no facetime and ew green bubbles shit, they'll stop making any new additions because they'd have no incentive to do so and they'd have no competition to fear.
using the p7, i never had bugs . i read a lot ab em on r/GooglePixel but personally never had a bug myself
nice
yeah call drops are common
hopefully google fixes it with a15
motorola is shit yeah
its in the changelogs of the june update
LMao
yeah moto is shit
if Pixel didn't exist, I'd get nothing or samsung
than at last, an iphone
bruv ur an iphone user
they don't actually do anything if u lock it back with stock firmware
they still deliver u support
but its something they have in their policies
hmm
but still fix your phone if need be
happened to me
haan true
Lmao yeah
samsung is more anti competitive than apple
but like
it has to use android so it respects some stuff
yeah its like a side quest
but turns out there's gonna be a new modem in p9
and a tsmc (same as A Bionic) chip in p10
so I'll wait for p11 so they can get their new shit together with a completely new SOC
they don't have much to do besides changing their policies and giving users choice
what they focus on, they ace at it
they're just staunchly against things other phones offer
like more freedom and choice
Interoperability
with other brands
not being forced to buy a google product to be able to quick share to a google phone owned by someone else
rcs works with all brands that adopted RCS
ur own launcher
many tiny things too
yeah that's because yankees are stupid
neolib asshats
i can use my own password manager
my own browser
my own messaging app
my own digital assistant or disable it altogether
how
bitwarden on iphone as a native app?
also there's no chrome on iphones
its just safari underneath
with a google branding
yeah
why does it not matter
that's not...the point
the underlying engine matters
ur definition of real work is what I disagree with
also how's airdrop superior?
i don't understand
so does qs
what
quick share bruv
its on all phones and windows pcs except apple ones
well I just told u the things android has iphones don't
its fine if u don't see it
but that's exactly what's happening
maybe because u live in NA
everyone's brainwashed to hate androids there
yeah that's sad
hope they start growing up
nice
good job
wow
nice
mine's a full sized tower
ohhhh
wow nice
damn sexy
android pc????
oh okay
yeah
lmao nws
I got one
on my laptop
i use it to run android games at 10000 fps
lol
but i haven't booted it up in a while
it just sits somewhere in another partition
no no
bluestack's chinese spyware
i use waydroid, its open source and based on AOSP
fr
yeah but u need linux for it
it uses the linux kernel to run android on top
lol container on vm will work but atp just use google play pc
or WSA
okay yeah
fair
windows subsystem for android
yeah its like WSL but for android
works like shit tho
google play pc is better
but it can only run playstore thingies and they have to be games
same
but sim city>>>
nah
😭😭😭
oh true
just block the ads
yeah
😭
true
i installed evox yesterday cause i had nothing to do and my vanilla stock firmware was getting boring as shit
i only enabled quality of life features
i don't like heavy customization. Sometimes it works sometimes its buggy, all times its unusable and ugly for others
yep, face unlock is better. fingerprint is better. the brightness slider is easier to access (cause its at the bottom), call hang ups and answers cause haptic feedback, removed a lot of ugliness from the status bar
nope
on stock fw u can't tell if ur phone was unlocked if u don't have notifications pending that actively expand when its unlocked
but this one has a neat animation when its unlocked by face AND haptic feedback
why
do what?
ohh
yeah i mean that's a neat thing
i hope android adds that by default
its not like they can't, their focus is just different rn
ironing out bugs and adding new iphone like features. quality of life features aren't the focus
rn google is very focused on
user complaints
and AI sadly
but yeah
they do listen to feedback a lot
and fix a lot of complaints
Lmao
what did u install?
ohhh
😭😭😭
yeah fair
i use win 11 (haven't updated in months) and gnome with linux
i see
lmao temple os
ugh why ubuntu
they're linux microsoft
ah fair
fair
lmao yeah u should
i am gonna switch to vanilla os when the version 2 comes out
i don't need peak performance on my linux, it already destroys Windows on geekbench
rn I use Arch because its the fastest in terms of speed and efficiency
lmao true
real
i like arch because of pacman
and because the documentation is complete
plus it's just not breaking for me
maybe because i am able to fix every small issue cause of the better documentation
yeah
but vanilla os is better
i don't need peak freedom
as long as pacman's there and immutability is there
might try NixOS too but heard its crazy with the yaml config
so maybe not
i want a simpler distro, rn that's arch for me
oh with nix?
nice
damn
yeah I've heard its pretty solid
its the new thing too
i do love config files, can't lie. they make life easy
yeah true
vanilla os is for people that want a proper bug free experience
i have used mac
had to do some stuff for a few days on it
sad
i don't have a problem with bugginess in software as trillion dollar companies can easily fix that within days
i have a problem when their policies prevent progress. that's not as easy to overcome
if there's a user facing bug, they'll fix it
if its not intended to be that way
they got enough funds
not if their entire company revolves around pushing AI, I'd prefer a buggy manjaro pc
yepp
yepp
yeah true
their policies are shit
they're not inept
I mistook it for cr droid
