I gave my mom Poco F5 and its been ticking along really well. Outside of preinstalled apps which I disabled, there are no ads either, atleast on the one I have.

yep, face unlock is better. fingerprint is better. the brightness slider is easier to access (cause its at the bottom), call hang ups and answers cause haptic feedback, removed a lot of ugliness from the status bar
