Just started got 2 spearhead

I’m still learning but I got spearheads for the 2 groups I like if anyone has anytime I’d love to here them

I don’t know much about the Nurgle spearhead, but the skaven one seems to be missing a warp lightning cannon from it, the spearhead plays very well though, moving in your opponents movement phase is incredibly strong and the shooting available from the cannon & stormfiends is crazy. The gray seer is mainly used for its teleportation enhancement and let’s you get a lot of the tactics which would otherwise be difficult. Clanrats use as screens and objective control. Melee is not it’s strong suit but the stormfiends can do well if your lucky

How about the other spearhead army for skaven? I have that one and my son wants to get blades of khorne, do you think they would be evenly matched?

Blades of khorne will be a very difficult matchup for the skaven spearhead(gnawfeast clawpack), there isn’t really anything the skaven one has to deal with the bloodcrushers but if you play smartly and focus on scoring it’ll be an even fight

The skullcrushers? Avoid them and hope the rat ogres get lucky? 😄

Yeah skullcrushers 😅 but no the rat ogors will get demolished, 15 health on a 2+ save is bonkers for spearhead lmao, charge them with a bunch of clanrats before you get smashed by them and lock them in combat. Maybe the warlock engineer + rogors will be able to kill one or two? Much better idea to focus on killing the blood warriors & reavers and stop them from scoring, rats are excellent at that

Would you say the other skaven spearhead is better? And has my son chosen the best spearhead by pure chance? 😄

Definitely the other skaven spearhead is ‘better’ and the khorne one is stronger but it’s not a huge difference either way, spearhead is pretty balanced and mostly comes down to skill

Might just buy some stormfiends and a warp cannon then I can do both 🙂
