I've been building towards this list and have played similar ones with borrowed minis that got pretty decent results

As a general idea tho STD lists really like the elite units (chosen, knights, Varanguard) regardless of how you're building your list.

Ay thanks for the list! I was thinking of building my list around Archaon I know he’s the beefy expensive boy but his model is too cool not to use. You have recommendations for that?

I'd suggest looking at the sword of chaos army of renown

Its built around Archaon, Abraxia and varannguards

Oh cool! Is an army or renown like a legends detachment or something?

@tawny quest it's not legend, they're effectively alternate army rules you can use at the cost of some restrictions and not having access to the regular rules.
