#Resin and Metal models

Super glue really
Those are mostly for very old models, so if you are collecting the new armies, you should be fine, but in say skaven you can run into resin etc.
The things to keep in mind with each:
Resin - breathing bits of it can get you sick. When cutting/trimming/fitting or doing anything with them that can cause chipping wear a mask of some sorts. It's not that one tiny particle will kill you, no need to panic, but mask and gloves when putting them together etc is kinda must. Besides that treat them like plastic.
Metal you will likely need to seal the paint after painting, or use varnish.
A file to clean up metal models I believe
Oh also Resin may be warped, not fit properly. A quick dunk in warm water and you can kind of bend it into shape
Yeah you're probably fine with most of the sigmar range besides a few things in a couple legacy ranges like Skaven or CoS
Resin is not horrible in itself, nowadays the best and detailed 3d prints are resin. It does need a bit more care and work, sure, but it's generally worth it.
The issue is that when GW did resin, they did it horribly, so you get all the hassle, and detail is still bad.
So Resin is great just. GW sucks at it?
Because superglue can sometimes take ages to cure, I often use a tiny blob of greenstuff near or on the connection point, to hold it in place while the glue dries
Also thanks. I'll make sure I keep myself safe and use the resins wisely. I just pray GW update them
eventually yeah. And unless you are going to a gw event, instead of getting the resin/metal, you can buy proxies online for similar/cheaper price.
And without the nonsense, usually better looking too :D
Correction: GW doesn't bother with Resin anymore except for forge world, though FW mainly does necromunda and horus heresy so. I think the only FW stuff for AoS is some niche monsters
Yea I figured but man they are too expensive
There are recast sites if you did want to get the models for cheaper
