I don't see what this is supposed to achieve
You have such a huge dmg penalty for projectile speed???
this.. doesn't really make a better form of the huntsman?
what even are the proper stats for this
i think the arrows can possibly go in a straight line than than have a curved path of fire
that would make it a bit stronger than the huntsman
UPD: Removed the penalty
Now it's an upgrade (probably)
What is this even supposed to achieve? Ask yourself that first
okay but like what are the actual stats of this
your description of the weapon's pretty vague
It's meant to be like the Huntsman. But you don't need to charge and your ammo reserve will be identical to that of the Sniper Rifle. The increased projectile speed is so it feels almost like a hitscan. The headshots deal minicrit stat is a negative cuz it fires Huntsman arrows, which will headshot an enemy without having you enter a stat that makes a weapon headshot. The headshots are minicrit so the weapon isn't too overpowered.
So to put it simply; it's just a Sniper Rifle that fires Huntsman arrows instead of regular hitscans. And scoping gives you an illusion that you're firing a hitscan.
Do you have any idea to make it better?
to be honest this sounds like the worst of both worlds
you lose both the sheer damage of the sniper rifle (no crits on headshot, not hitscan) and the non-commitness of the huntsman (sniper rifle charge speed, scope being a requirement)
Not to mention that source can't handle projectiles that move at speed of light
depends whether the projectile speed's based on an uncharged or charged huntsman shot
i guess
so ~3300 hm/u or ~4700 hm/u
Probably charged bc uncharged it would be so shit
