When you are disguised as a Spy, you will always pickup health kits (and ammo packs I assume). This is from being able to replenish your disguise health. If your disguise victim is low health, you can pick up a health pack despite your current real health to replenish your disguise’s health. It also picks health up even if you and your disguise are full health?
Problem is that you can accidentally run over health packs and screw over your team, even if you are full health. I want an option to disable “disguise pickups”, so you will only pick it up when you need it, not your disguise. It may break your disguise if an enemy sees a low hp teammate not pick up a HealthKit. Perhaps make it so you have to crouch to pick it up or press the unused “use” key.

Spies pick up health by accident often to the detriment of their team. Laming health packs should not be a thing
i'd like to add that legacy tf2c didn't do this
you couldn't pick up health kits if both you and your disguise were at full health
counter arguement, you can lame healthpacks that only the enemy team could reasonably use
i feel like tactics that just fuck over your or enemy teams aren't good tho.
maybe it could be tied to spywalk?
like using spywalk specifically prevents you from picking up medkits if your actual health is full
not the most intuitive thing though

that is by definition fucking them over..
but anyway this whole thing seems like an extremely niche issue honestly?
the chance of getting screwed over by a spy picking up a medkit that you need due to his disguise not having full health seems quite low
