Jump pads used to be cheaper but they were absurdly powerful and impossible to keep down for more than a second or two

So their metal cost was increased from 50 to 100

They genuinely made some maps feel impossible to play on because of how short their downtime was

Think of jump pads as two teleporters in one, so the cost being double makes sense. And jump pads are pretty powerful, so keeping it moderately expensive is fine.
