The Rocket Grab allows the Soldier to grab an enemy using a rocket-assisted maneuver. Upon activation, the Soldier automatically performs a rocket jump, then launches the grabbed victim using one of his rockets in the direction he is aiming.
Core Mechanics
When activated, the Soldier grabs an enemy and immediately performs a rocket jump.
The Soldier uses one loaded rocket to execute the movement.
The enemy is carried through the air and slammed upon landing.
Damage & Effects
Direct Damage:
Upon landing, the grabbed victim takes 35 damage.
Knockback Effect:
Nearby enemies receive knockback only, no damage.
Passive Effect:
+25% projectile speed when firing rockets while carrying a victim.
Projectile speed is calculated as base rocket launcher speed +25%.
Cooldowns:
On Miss (Grab the victim): 2.5 seconds
On Hit (after launching the victim): 10 seconds
Ammunition Cost
Consumes 2 rockets from the Soldier’s currently loaded ammunition.
The grabbed victim can be reflected.
The ability cannot be activated unless the Soldier has at least 2 rockets loaded.
Additional Notes:
The movement effect only occurs if the ammunition requirement is met.
