(Usually, buildings on construction start at 1 health and regenerate to their max health in relation to their construction.) -
Alt-Fire also swings your wrench. Hitting a friendly building with your Alt-Fire will apply overheal your building. The health:metal ratio and the amount of health given per swing is the same as its repair rate.
! Overheal works the same as it does on players (150% max health for 15 seconds). sapping or moving a building will remove all overheal applied.

This lets you place place level one buildings closer to fights like more offensive building concepts without having to give them cheap and disposable. It also shares some DNA with the Wrangler in allowing you to make a full level three tankier, though it's not nearly as effective with more defensive engineers.
