Hello hello,
I am trying to learn Jamie since he was the most fun for me from release but I never really got to it, I don't know why.
I think my main issue is having 0 fundamentals and I don't know how you learn them.
Anyway here is a round or two for review

Im a most ~1600 Mr so I don't have the best ideas, but I couldn't help but notice not a single of drink 1 ( lplkmp )TC. I think it's a great tool especially since you can link and confirm it off two cr lp. And if you don't confirm and they block you can drc cr lp for +3. And at this level you can probably get away at stopping at lk and not get punished

They are really fast and have no hit stun

The only time i use the target combo is after a driver rush st.hp

For my part what i've noticed is that you're very passive, most of the time you're waiting for the opponent aggression to stop before you challenge them. I'd recommend trying to take your turn non stop because they use very fake stuff that doesnt combo. you can use your 2lp for that.
Also, every time you make the opponent fall you drink, its not bad, but if you dont do much with the drinks why drink in the first place, i'd advice getting 2 drinks and starting pressuring the opponent on their wakeup, you will win more games. To achieve that on a rekka fist you just have to drive rush and use 6hk, if your timing is right they wont be able to press into that and you'll be able to cycle again into rekka fist, simple pressure.
Last, i've noticed that you dont anti air, its very important to familiarize with that because you let them get too much advantage by allowing them to jump on you, there are drills baked into the game to train that, i'd recommend 15min each time you start playing and try to catch the jumps of a low level bot just to train yourself.

Fully agree with all of the above. Here's my own thoughts on the matter.

When I played Jamie my philosophy was simple. 1 drink to level the playing field, everything after that is skewing it in your favor. For certain matchups, 2 drinks to level the field. Akuma and Guile are especially vulnerable to Bakkai.

2 drinks is great because access to Bakkai is great. 3 drinks is amazing because Jamie's command throw is arguably the best in the game due to it letting you choose damage or oki.

At the level you're at now, I would consider 4 drinks simply bonus damage and drive regen. You need to master some simpler stuff before you can start doing the insane plays you can do with dl4 Jamie.

You need to learn some really simple oki, luckily Jamie has that in spades. Light DP sets up dash 2x into meaty, or a safejump. Same with light Bakkai at 2 drinks (replaces light DP as your go-to oki ender). From there you can push them to the corner where Jamie's offense really comes together.

In the corner, a forward throw lets you get a drink and still do a meaty stMK which can then be canceled into something else like a rekka or a DRC. DR crMP gives you a strike/throw/shimmy setup. Rekka on hit gives you oki while being hitconfirmable as fuck. You can see the power in this.

#

Also, you have to stop doing punch rekka into drink, not only are you giving up oki for it - it's fake as all hell and even punishable if your opponent knows that. If you want to drink, you have to go for the kick version and give up oki for a safe sippy.

That combo if I spent all my resources on it (unoptimised!)
